Located in Siem Reap, a 12-minute walk from King's Road Angkor, The Elephant has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. This hotel is just gorgeous, beautifully presented throughout and very well run. Check in was smooth and upon arrival we were given complimentary tea and fruit which was greatly appreciated after travelling. In addition, every day there's complimentary tea and snacks! The drinks and food from the restaurant was also delicious- the mango sticky rice and fish amok were particular favourites! The room was extremely comfortable, clean and huge, with ample space for 2 people. More importantly, all of the staff we interacted with were super professional, friendly and incredibly helpful. We didn't catch everybody's names but, special commendations for Ms Bolen and Mr Sun for looking after us the most! Ms Bolen and the other reception staff were very quick to help us with booking tours, transportation and general answers to any questions we had. And Mr Sun was incredibly patient and good natured during the 2 and a half days we were driven to all the temples in his tuktuk- the cold water and towels were so so appreciated! Thank you all for such a wonderful stay, we've never had a hotel experience like it!

All the rooms had a really nice view, and the pool on the top of the building was amazing! They make excelent cocktails. Next to the pool there is a steam room, oh so realxing after a swim. Staff are really professional and were really nice to us. Breakfast was also delicious.

From the moment you arrive, they are so accommodating and welcoming. Brought a welcome drink on arrival and some fruit and a mango juice on check out. They helped sort me a tuk tuk to my airport transfer for free. They always said hello as you passed by and were just wonderful. The location is great for evening activities like the circus, pub street and night markets - all walkable or very short tuk tuk ride. It's also very central for day trips and tours pick ups. It's on a lovely street with fairy lights and lots of food places, bars or markers around. Very safe area. Easy distance to Angkor Wat. 5 min walk to pub street. Small pool area, very chill and lots of shade. Quiet, private rooms. A lovely, lovely stay. The staff make this hotel so great!
