We loved everything at Sheraton. The room was beautifully decorated to welcome us for our honeymoon. Thanks to the Front Office Manager and whole team. You made our stay memorable:-) The food was excellent. The spa beautiful decorated with professional therapist. Thanks to the young lady who took care of me. We enjoyed the roof top with great music and delicious cocktail. We are planning every year to renew our vows.

The hotel was a very pleasant discovery. We booked it as a " finisher" to our 3 weeks stay in sri Lanka, and we were pleasantly surprised. We asked for a room on a high floor, and we were accomodated. The view was beautiful, the room big and clean, and equipped with all necessity. On one occasion we ordered room serviced, that arrived within 15 min.and considering the Hotel, prices were good to. Good selection of food available 24h. The pool on the rooftop was the highlight.we really enjoyed it beautiful landscape, at day and night, not to crowded, very good size, and I particularly enjothe early opening time, that allowed me to go in for a morning swim. The gym is also very well equipped, and kept in top noch, with a great view over the city.( for eveb better motivation) even here, great opening and closing time, allowing you to use it early and late. Breakfast was super too. Changed daily, getting you excited every morning on what's on the buffet. Maybe a few more vegan options would be a nice add on,specially in the sweet area,but I still managed to have a great brekfast. Last but not least...we were very pleased with the hotels policies, and their environment friendly approach, using sustainable materials for the complementary items, as well producing hot water with a heath exchanging system ( from hot water and body heath etc) and using a biomass burner for The A.C ( refilled glass bottles in the room, avoiding plastic...) We are really pleased with our stay, we can only reccomend

This is my second stay at Cinnamon Grand, and it was just as great as expected. One thing that really stood out was the exceptional service quality of the staff. In particular, I want to thank the lovely staff in the 9th floor lounge. They were incredibly attentive and remembered our room numbers after only telling them once. They even helped me book the spa, showcasing the true spirit of Sri Lankan hospitality. I want to express my deepest gratitude to Upeksha, Cheryl, Dilshanu, Prasanna, Wasantha, and Damith. I also want to thank Samantha in the lobby for going above and beyond to find a restaurant for dinner. Despite the options being overwhelming, Samantha diligently searched and finally placed the call on my behalf, securing the booking.

I love this hotel and it’s history, there is a small museum around the back. The room was beautiful and clean and the bathroom had recently been renovated. The breakfast buffet is amazing with western and local food and the staff were so friendly and helpful. My favorite part is sitting in the evening at the bar watching the beautiful sunset.

Colombo has, somewhat unfairly, a reputation for being rather dull. I stayed for 3 days all up and enjoyed it very much much. The trick is to cherry-pick those things that interest you and leave the rest. Getting around by tuk-tuk is both easy and cheap.

Dehiwela is very multi cultural and many differant varieties of restaurants and clothing along hill street which we stayed. people were very nice and polite to us and we felt safe even at late hours. also walking along hill street is quite a visual experience and we have done a few food crawls (like pub crawl but for food! ) along hill street. I would recommend dehiwela as a yet undiscovered gem in sri lanka with its own personality.

Lovely town.

Lovely town. Sri Lankan government buildings are located in this town. Citizenship and Immigration, Visa and NIC offices are here. There is also the Diyawanna Lake with board walks, bicycle routes, Parks and walk ways, perfect sceneries. Easy to get around town just by walking. About 30 minutes drive from Colombo Port City and One Galle Face Mall. About 45 minutes drive from Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport.

Malabe is a busy semi-urban area, just far enough from the really busy crowded streets of Colombo to enable visitors to walk along lanes and between paddy fields, and get a taste of life in Sri Lanka outside of the city. Nearby, the small marsh, the "Chandrika Kumarathunga Mawatha Wetland" - beside a canal and well-cared-for "jogging track" - offers a lovely selection of bird life and glimpses of the huge water monitors swimming in the canal. To see even more wildlife of Sri Lanka, spend a couple of days inland visiting Sinharaja Rainforest or Yala National Park for a safari.

Great service, and having the entire property at my disposal was very nice, played some great music on the bluetooth audio, mostly enjoyed the relaxing garden and the swing which was so nice in day and as well as in night.

Rajagirya is not too much of a tourist destination, traffic...

Rajagirya is not too much of a tourist destination, traffic and roads are chaotic and walking is unpleasant if not dangerous. Walking in a wetland park nearby, observing monitor lizzards was relaxing. Getting around is by Tuk-tuk, which is not pleasant, uber rides in other vehicles were difficult for short rides.

Modern city with plenty of attractions, hot weather not withstanding. Must stay for atleast 3-4 days and explore the museums, spend more time at the Galle Face beach and fly kites Pure vegetarian food was easily available 5/5

Great place to stay in Colombo area away from city centre but close enough for easy access to city amenities, shops and restaurants. Lovely colonial era building full of charm. The terrace and pool area is unique - right on the ocean. Nothing quite like it in the Colombo area.
