Very beautiful bungalow, the room is big, clean and new. There is a big garden very well cared for. Breakfast and dinner are tasty, and they have been served on the tables in the garden which was very nice and cozy. There is a beach immediately on the left, near a cemetery, empty, and very beautiful. They have their own sunbeds for the guests. It was really beautiful to see the sunset and sunrise from there. For the next visitors: if you come to these beautiful parts, unfortunately the dogs situation in Trincomalee is quite sad. Please, bring some food with you. Next to the hotel there are two sweet dogs that would love some cuddles and food.

Everything about our stay exceeded expectations. The property was exceptionally clean, modern, and very well maintained. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. Everything was amazing and beautiful property!! Very close to the beach. The owner was very friendly, polite and helpful. This guesthouse made my stay so comfortable, just perfect for a relaxed stay. Rooms are clean, bed is good, breakfast (pancake) is tasty. I will happily stay here again.

Friendliness of the staff, they really want to make everything as comfortable as possible. The room was really nice and clean great beds. The pool is open from 0830 till 2130 so the kids could go swimming after dinner which we really enjoyed. And its nice location close to the beach (500m walk). And with a tuktuk you can go to Uppuveli for more action and nice restaurants. Definitely go to Your Choice restaurant there.

The staff was nice and always helpful. The position is amazing, directly on the beach with a beautiful swimming pool that looks at the ocean. The rooms are a bit old, but with Aircon: you can sleep hearing the sea! The restaurant is a bit more expensive than other around, but it serves good food with a spectacular view.

Not really knowing where to stay in Trincomalee, we chose this one as the gardens, pool and rooms looked really nice on the website. It certainly didn't disappoint, and was a really lovely hotel. We used this base to go on a number of water-based activities such as diving (Divers Land Dive Club - really good set up and team), and go on a whale watching tour (only saw dolphins) which also included stopping at Navy Rock). The staff were all amazing, and kept the gardens immaculate. The breakfast was great, and they provided us with a takeaway breakfast bag for the 3 days we had to leave early for the diving and whale tour.

Wonderful, quiet accommodation right on the beach. If you are looking for peace and tranquility, this is the perfect place for you. You have the beach all to yourself. There is also a pool on the premises. Breakfast is tasty and satisfying, with different options available each day. You can have breakfast and dinner in your room, on the premises, or even dinner right on the beach. A tuk-tuk ride takes just a few minutes to get into town. I highly recommend it.

The location and architecture of the hotel is lovely. The first thing you see as you look through the archway is the ocean. The staff is kind and accommodating. Our kids loved the pool and the closeness to the ocean is just great. The garden is well kept and has lots of beautiful flowers and plants. A decent location with beautiful beaches, a variety of...

A decent location with beautiful beaches, a variety of accommodation and resorts and a lot of options for marine activities like whale watching, snorkeling, diving or simply having fun on the beach. The beaches were clean and well maintained, the water was clear and clean as well. There are also a few historical sites and tourist points of interest you can access easily in the region as well, for those interested. Highly recommend including this region in your travel plans when visiting Sri Lanka.

The beach has soft golden sand, clear blue water, and a relaxing atmosphere, making it perfect for swimming, walking, and enjoying the sunset. It is less crowded than many other popular beaches, so you can really enjoy the natural beauty and peaceful surroundings. The area is also a great base for exploring Pigeon Island and other attractions around Trincomalee. I can only talk about the beach, the sea and Fernando‘s bar food court: really awesome. Ignore the urge to go to Pidgeon Island. Just relax at the beach and eat at one of the many, many good restaurants at Fernando's.

Relaxed beach holiday destination away from the big crowds especially if you stay around Nilaveli rather than Uppaveli Great location to learn diving and snorkelling - reasonably priced and wonderful sea conditions from May/June to early October. Locals were incredibly welcoming Plenty of food options which are very reasonably priced. If you’re prepared to go off the beaten track a Sri Lankan curry meal for family of 4 will cost no more than RP3,000. In a hotel, similar will cost RP10,000. Would highly recommend if looking for somewhere where the beaches are peaceful, people are relaxed and looking to unwind!

We had heard wonderful things of Trincomalee, but it didn't live up to expectations. We took a tour of Trincomalee and visited the fort and a couple of temples which were interesting but otherwise Trincomalee was much like any other non-descript Sri Lankan city. Admittingly, it does have some nice beaches and water views, but the rubbish around the beaches was a put off for us.

The beach was nice.

The beach was nice. The staff was friendly and tried to go out of their way to help. There were somethings lacking in the room in order to make our stay more comfortable. There was no phone in case you needed to reach the front desk or staff. You had to go out to the front desk or look outside for staff if you needed anything. There is no TV in the room. There was a lot left to desire in the a la cart menu.
