The host was super friendly, making us feel right at home. The environment was peaceful with the added charm of an animal farm. The main living area was beautifully decorated, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed with tea and delicious homemade cake. It is very remote location, but that is an old mill so could expect that. It was very clean, and the river is great next to the apartments, so nice refreshing in the morning. It was very clean and first floor kitchen that was possible to be used was a great option, which we did not know about.

I have never been to Tauragė, the modern city exceeded my...

I have never been to Tauragė, the modern city exceeded my expectations - the city is neat, quiet, safe, there are a couple of high-class restaurants and a number of simpler cafes, a niche perfume shop and a perfectly renovated central hotel. I was surprized by the amount of foreign tourists there. For history fans- beautiful churches and a Castle, WWII "Line of Molotov" bunkers runs through the city and places around. For the naturalists - many natural attractions around Tauragė for day/half-day trips.

Very nice new pool and sauna complex.

Very nice new pool and sauna complex. No good food restaurant and everything works only till 8pm. You are forced to make dinner at home and stay inside. The neighborhoods are cozy and nicely kept. However, there are no activities, maybe in cultural house a few days per month. Very remote and not touristic place.
