The staff was friendly. Behind and next to the hotel there is a spa with swimming pools and saunas, tennis courts, a stadium and a fitness center. Near the hotel there is a lake with fountains where you can swim. An ideal place to relax with children or a dog. We were very satisfied!

The dinner at the restaurant ‘Miškas’ was delicious and filling, and the service from the waitstaff was impeccable. For my husband’s birthday, I booked a massage for him, which he really enjoyed as well. Thank you for meeting our expectations — we will definitely be back!

The location is absolutely beautiful. The campsite is surrounded by pine forests and sits right on the shore of Lake Baltieji Lakajai, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I stayed in a room inside one of the cabins and found it clean, comfortable, and perfect for a quiet getaway.
The observation tower is a real highlight – the views over the lake and forests are breathtaking, especially during sunset. I also enjoyed the well-maintained waterfront area with piers, boats, and kayaks available nearby. Everything felt natural, calm, and authentic.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and it was clear that the property is cared for with attention and pride. I left feeling relaxed and would gladly return in the future.

The price to quality ratio is amazing! Everything was perfect: a welcoming host, who offered to warm up the house, huge spacious garden, a beautiful lake, spacious and cozy rooms, big area for dining and enjoying ourselves. Comfortable and clean house with beautiful surroundings! We used the sauna and jumped in the lake, which was wonderful. The hosts were very helpful and the communication was great. Recommended for relaxing or active vacation in the nature.

Beautiful town surrounding by forests. Interesting small museums, like "Angel Museum", and "Baranauskas and Vienuolis memorial houses". Old town rich of nice old houses restored. Treetop Walking path is a lovely walk at the level of the treetop.

I love to stay in Zarasai during summer, also been here...
I love to stay in Zarasai during summer, also been here during late autumn. An amazing, calm place with good variety of swimming places and aquatic sports. Family-friendly and teen-friendly environment. Zarasai have considerably cheaper accommodation prices than other resort-cities in Lithuania, but it might change during August period. If it had a better access with Vilnius-Turmantas railway, it would be more easier and faster to travel there.

Visiting Visaginas in August is a must! It’s the best time to enjoy the beautiful summer weather and various outdoor & water activities. It’s also the busiest month filled with celebrations and entertainment events. Visaginas hosts Visagino Country Music Festival every year and it has been a total success this summer! Visaginas is a perfect place for families with young children. It’s very clean, easy to get around and has direct access to Lake Visaginas.

A nice location gifted with natures’ gifts of lakes and woods with many places to visit and stay, many cabins in the area, good shopping and ample eating. Moletai Hotel is best if you wish as we did.

Utena is a small city, but with a deep history.
Utena is a small city, but with a deep history. I really liked the local history museum, the old post office.
We found it difficult to have dinner in the city center.
Apart from Hesburger, we couldn't find anything better.

We stayed at Sodyba Voverė for 3 nights and had a fantastic experience. The villa was spacious and very comfortable, with separate rooms for every couple in the family. While there is only one bathroom in the main villa, it worked well for us as a family — though it might be a bit less convenient for a group of friends.
The location is simply beautiful: quiet, surrounded by forest and right by the lake. We were lucky with the weather and spent most of our time outdoors, relaxing, reading, and enjoying nature.
A special mention to the housekeeping lady — she was very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay.
All in all, this is probably the best place we've stayed as a family so far. We love lake side villas for our family gatherings, and this one truly stood out. Highly recommended!

It's a small town with a beautiful church in the center.
It's a small town with a beautiful church in the center. For those who like to move it is easy to get around Anykščiai by bike. A few of my favorite places which I recommend visiting are Puntukas stone and Laju treetop walking path. Also, climbing the tower of the Church of Apostle Evangelist St. Matthew in Anykščiai tower is a really good experience to look around Anykščiai from high.

Ignalina is a small town.
Ignalina is a small town. There is not much to see or do in the town itself. But it has a most beautifull surroundings - lakes, forests, hills. You can wander around by marked trails for days, or go cycling, or maybe rent a cayak or boat in nearby Palūšė. Ignalina is also called a winter capital of Lithuania, having a mountain ski center and some cross-country trails. It is a pitty we have less and less snow during our winters. The town also has an indoor pool complex. Ignalina is easily reachable from Vilnius by train. So, my advice for a foreigner (I am local): if you are an outdoor sports fan, or just a rambler without much goals like me - choose Ignalina as a destination for a weekend or more. If you want a bit more culture to go with that- choose Anykščiai. And if you are looking for more lazy leisure with SPA and maybe some healthcare procedures - choose Birštonas or Druskininkai. My country is amazing in every season and everyone can find something for himself.

Visaginas is a hidden gem city, mostly underrated and missunderstood! It has vibrant culture, street art, and an astonishing late-soviet period architechture, the city is coherent and easy to melt within, it feels almost like if you knew where you going. There are lake shores everywhere. Prices are like in Vilnius, but in summer there are several local caffeterias opened with nice lithuanian food menus.
