IrelandThe hotel location is not in city centre, in kore like an industrial/office zone, but it was easy to get to to
city center- 20mins by tram or buses, free of charge. Hotel staff were very welcoming especially at the restaurant. Breakfast was varied - eggs, breads and croissants, cereals, fruit, cheeses, hamon and bacon and a few other choices. Our room 212 - was soundproof windows and we didn’t hear a thing from outside. Great shower and perfect working AC. If we are in Luxembourg again, we would return to this same hotel.

A beautiful clean, modern hotel 15 minutes from the centre of Luxembourg. Communication regarding entry was easy. Room for three was large and spacious, everything new and modern. Beds were so comfortable and linen and towels great quality. The room had a fridge, small cooktop and microwave well concealed. Fresh fruit was a lovely welcome. In the morning the breakfast was everything you need to start the day. Lovely friendly hosts. New air conditioner a bonus. Easy parking. There is a fabulous bakery across the road.

Very friendly staff and very clean hotel. 15 minutes from the centerbof Luxembourg and it is way cheaper than being in the city. Close to highway which is convenient but somehow very quiet hotel. Next time i will book here for sure.

It was very clean, in the room there were 2 bottles of water, coffee, chocolate.
There is inexpensive parking near the hotel. We went for breakfast at 9:40, there was a lot of food and drinks, although breakfast is until 10.

We were upgraded to a suite which was spacious and very comfortable. The staff were pleasant, kind and helpful. The hotel was in an ideal location for the railway station.

I was here for business and the Ibis I stayed in was doing...
I was here for business and the Ibis I stayed in was doing what it needed, I slept decently. I saw very little of the town, so I cannot recommend this. I went to the Agile Tour Luxembourg which I definitely CAN recommend :)

Very friendly receptionist who spoke very well english. She was very interested in my Manchester Terrier dog and our results at the dogshow in Luxemburg City. Bed was of good size and the room was big enough. Shower faboulous! There was also a kettle with lovely tea! Very lovely surroundings with lots of flowers planted and a park. I recieved two keys, just incase.

The hotel was clean and breakfast was good but on a downside our room on the third floor was so so hot - there was a fan but it was just too hot and we didn't have a great sleep due to the temperature in the room. It was great that they took dogs though.

Lovely town with many bars and restaurants.
Lovely town with many bars and restaurants. Whilst we were there, there was a market over the weekend which was very busy, selling local produce & a few clothing stalls. They also had a stage set up and local bands played there each night. One area has been made over into a small beach with sand & deck chairs, great for children to play, whilst you enjoy a drink!

I was very surprised that I booked a room for 103 Euro over booking.com and when I arrived there was a note hanging there that the rooms cost 75 Euros a night....
Big difference, to bad I already paid booking.com
103 Euro for a 2 star hotel, no fridge, no welcome water nothing.

The apartment in itself was quite ok if for the basic...
The apartment in itself was quite ok if for the basic amenities. But the customer support, in times of trouble and the lack thereof made my stay at Sanem, a bad experience. Instead of having a relaxing evening after a long day at work, I was hunting for parking spaces and getting yelled at by annoyed neighbours who neither spoke English nor German. If there were no issues and no interaction with customer care, this place might perhaps be a good stay.

The city had really good bus service.
The city had really good bus service. However, getting there and back to the airport in Luxembourg (Findel) is far too difficult. This may be a result of the massive construction in and around Luxembourg's train stations. What should have been an easy trip back and forth did not happen.

The booking by booking.com did not reach the hotel owner. We were at the hotel but there was no sign whatsoever this is hotel. Everything was dark, no name, nothing. Locals didn't know this address is a hotel. We called the manager, it took her 15 minutes to learn I actually booked a room. The manager was not the smilie type, nor was she interested in us, she was efficient though

There were local establishments within close proximity for eating and socializing. There is also a super market in town for the nights if you want to stay in. The old Steel factory is a cool sight to see; fully rejuvenated to fit within the community to embrace its past glory days of processing & manufacturing Steel. Public transportation is available but was not feasible for direction I needed to go. I was very dependent on a local friend to get me around the area. There is a large parking garage below the Del Haize grocery store for those that bring or rent an automobile.
