Summer paradise. Super nice place to stay with friends, family or loved one. Even dogs were allowed so definitely will come back with our dog next time.
Very clean room and facilities. Kitchen area was good, loved that the toilets had radio so it felt a bit more private. Garden was beautiful and well kept. You could take a private road to the wonderful beach from the garden.
Camping itself was good size. You can hear everything going on outside but after all it’s camping so that’s expected. Bed was also comfortable. Really nice place and for sure will come back.

The perfect place for solitude—tons of space and hardly a soul at the seaside. So yeah, please don’t go. Just leave it all to me, thanks. Unless, of course, you enjoy the occasional mosquito swarm (some years it’s a buffet, other years just a light snack). In that case—be my guest. It’s perfect.

We stayed at separate wooden house, which was quite new and quite modern furnished, very cosy and comfortable. The house is in a very green surroundings, 10 min from the most beautiful stony beach and Veczemju clintis by car.

It is a cute and charming North Vidzeme seaside town just on...
It is a cute and charming North Vidzeme seaside town just on the very border with Estonia. A lot of pine trees, fresh air, sea, historical houses and very few people. Stroll around the town and you will see that almost each stone, house and corner have something to say about the amazing history of Ainazi being the center for the sailor education in the past. The nature there is amazing - a lot of trails to explore. It is easy to reach Ainazi by public transport from Riga and other Vidzeme's towns.
There is a fast-food place and some restaurants / cafes, and several shops.

Very delightful, relaxing elegant and enjoyable. Food is very delicious and presented like a five star restaurant. Sorroundings are very pretty and full of nature, walking paths and benches throughout. Since there is no air conditioning, avoid warm days. It will be hot and uncomfortable on summer days.

Limbaži is my birthplace, and I visit here to see family and friends. It's a clean, quiet, and safe place.
During this visit, we discovered a lovely spot for food called "Pie Ausekļa" on Jaunā iela 3. We loved the food and the customer service: the staff were great, the food was delicious, and the prices were very fair. Definitely worth visiting if you're in the area.

A quiet place, close to the Estonian boarder and sea.
A quiet place, close to the Estonian boarder and sea. Out of season you can be the only persons walking along the beach. Good for walking and right on the long distance Baltic Way walking route. Plenty of green spaces to explore. There are two museums to visit the Navel museum and the Fire Brigade museum.

Our stay at Birini Pils was absolutely perfect.
Our stay at Birini Pils was absolutely perfect. We were two families of four, with children ages 4, 8, 9, and 12. Everyone really enjoyed it! Very relaxing to explore the grounds, swim in the lake, rent the paddle boat, eat homemade ice cream at the cafe, and our dinner at the castle was incredible. Everything perfect! The only thing to note is that you should let them know if you have any mobility issues as there can be quite a few stairs, depending on where your room is (I'm not sure if there is an elevator). It can also get hot during the summer and because the castle is old, there is no A/C but fans are provided.

It was a beautiful home but not well maintained and owned by bad people, place was dusty! they had some broken stuff, when we got there that they blamed us for by the way! We had to get the police involved because they demanded 4,000.00 euros from us, which they lowered to 1,200,00 euros when they realized we were not going to be fear mongered It was a good start. Then they blamed us for things which did not make any sense. For example, they said we brought a dog, even though it is clearly stated that the place is animal friendly or the small crack on the wall. It was very suspicious that they found that crack very fast. They threatened us with police or we should pay them double the rent amount on spot which we insisted to call the police. I do not recommend them at all. They are scammer. Since they do not get much business, they obviously came up with this business strategy. Since I worked in an insurance company before, I know how these people operate.
