We’ve stayed in lots of Air BnB type places in other parts of the world, and this was far better in terms of comfort, the amenities provided, and supplies like glasses and cutlery. Hats of to the owners for developing such a wonderful place in the nice little town of Tukums. There’s also a great little bakery right below the property for breakfast and a Rimi supermarket only a 200 metre walk behind the property.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this cozy little house tucked away in the quiet, surrounded by forest. The peaceful atmosphere made it easy to fully relax and disconnect. The house itself was charming and comfortably heated with firewood, which added a special, authentic touch to the experience. We rested superbly and left feeling completely refreshed. The sauna was a perfect bonus—such a great addition that made our stay even more enjoyable. We would happily come back again!

A warm welcome, the hostess told about the surrounding area and recommended a very pleasant place to eat.
We arrived with a small child, so they showed us the available rooms on the spot, and allowed us to choose a larger room than I had reserved without an extra charge.
Thank you for a pleasant and peaceful vacation! We will definitely be back.

Close to the wild beach and forest.
On the territory were only 3 such houses, so there is low possibility of noise

Engure is a wonderful place if you’re looking to slow down, disconnect, and focus. The seaside setting is peaceful and inspiring, perfect for working, thinking, or simply recharging. Everything is close enough to be convenient, yet it still feels quiet and untouched. Getting around is easy, and the area is ideal for walks, nature, and calm solo time.

Above expectations!
Above expectations! The house is very cute and thoughtfully designed, with modern amenities, including a shower with Wi-Fi. The provided toiletries were of a high standard – MADARA soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion were all available. There were plenty of towels in various sizes.
The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed for cooking and dining. I liked the glasses – large and sturdy.
The area outside is quite spacious, is completely surrounded by thujas. This creates a wonderful sense of privacy and security. The birds singing in the background added to the atmosphere of harmony and connection with nature.
The sauna. Its design is fantastic - wide benches and a huge wall-sized window that made the experience truly exceptional.
Little details - chairs, blankets for sitting outside and a fireplace surrounded by white stones created a cozy and comfortable atmosphere.
The host was very responsive and welcoming.

A wonderful spot for a relaxing getaway!
We stayed at this cozy, peaceful campsite and absolute loved it. It’s a fantastic small family business where the owners welcome you with genuine warmth—they are so friendly, helpful, and fun!
The cabins are really cute and neat. Yes, the amenities (shower, toilet, and fresh water) are shared and located on the grounds, but for a campsite, that’s completely normal standard practice—everything is clean and convenient.
A huge bonus is the BBQ area: the hosts kindly provide a basket of firewood, making for a perfect evening by the fire. And best of all—it’s just 250 meters along a pleasant path to a gorgeous beach!
I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends and acquaintances. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

We stayed in Tukums for a family discovery trip (researching family roots). It is a lovely town with a great visitor center. We found what we were looking for and added a bonus trip to the beach on the Baltic Sea which was an easy short drive from Tukums. The nearby Rimi grocery store is a bonus for the Four Seasons.

Favorite spot to visit - Engure lake nature park, where you can see wild cows and horses.
Very nice beaches in the city with children playground, changing cabins. City center beach has 2 bars.
Engure city very quiet, has several cafe/restaurant to choose from, very nice bakery for breakfast or just to grab something with you.

Lovely quiet small town with two small shops and a restaurant (Nostalgy) in the centre and a slightly bigger shop at the end of the town towards Jurmala.
Great place to explore the stunnng nature of Kemeri National Park and the sea.
Ideal for any nature lover who loves to spend time away from (m)any tourists.
Only downside is the lack of public transport within the Kemeri National Park and also taxis are very difficult to find, but there are still plenty of fantastic places you can easily get to by foot from Lapmezciems.

The sauna was highlight. Wood burning, hot, and everything you need to treat yourself. For hot bodies like me, use of the sauna hat is great!
For food, I grilled chicken.
I picked this place because it offered my lady and I some privacy. It would be real good for a larger group too!
