The house was like a museum with the breath of old days in every corner. At the same time the bathrooms and kitchen was all up to date. We enjoyed the lake and boats. Kids loved it!

Ok so the Location is great if you have a car or bike, it a bit out of town, but it is next to a beautiful lake, So I would say it either the best location or the worst depending on you. I do not mind walking so for me it was fine. Host was very interesting and knowledgeable person.

The bathtub, very comfortable couch and bed, kitchen for making basic meals, huge flat-screen tv with screen mirroring, checking in was super easy, wi-fi worked very well, communication went smoothly and the place was tidy and clean.
This apartment in this location, basically in the center of Valga, was really perfect.

Pleasant, but apart from the fact that it's one town in two...
Pleasant, but apart from the fact that it's one town in two countries, there is not that much to see / do. Cool to step over border and take a look at Estonian supermarket with slightly different goods, have some Estonian icecream. Liked town square on the Estonian side, a couple of monuments. Several spots for lunch / dinner, some even a bit fancy. I took a quick look during one afternoon, and the next morning took a bus to the nearby Strenci for a lovely forest walk along Gauja river.
