Great appartement close to the Valga train station, fully equipped for a longer stay - and lovely owners who even accommodated our two-year old with a special blanket and kids plate and cup.
Valga was cute - with the border area nicely designed. Way better than expected!

Pleasant, but apart from the fact that it's one town in two...
Pleasant, but apart from the fact that it's one town in two countries, there is not that much to see / do. Cool to step over border and take a look at Estonian supermarket with slightly different goods, have some Estonian icecream. Liked town square on the Estonian side, a couple of monuments. Several spots for lunch / dinner, some even a bit fancy. I took a quick look during one afternoon, and the next morning took a bus to the nearby Strenci for a lovely forest walk along Gauja river.
