FranceEverything was up to the level than we thought because in fact we enjoyed all the features of the desert, dromedaries sunset, sunrise by ATV Quad adventure, and transfer 4×4in the dunes, and we also enjoyed the various types of food in the camp with stars, dancing around the fire with desert music, and sleeping well. I advise all visitors to visit this best and wonderful place, and I thank Mohamed and Omar for their hospitality to us, and we will return soon and peace.

Very peaceful and restful, plenty of nice shaded seating looking out on the dunes, a magical place to sit and watch as the light changes on the sand. ItalyMy stay at Riad Jouba was simply wonderful and truly unforgettable. The room was large and spacious, with a beautiful balcony that made the stay even more enjoyable. The bathroom was also very spacious and, most importantly, equipped with all the comforts one could need.
From the very first moment, the kindness and professionalism of the staff were exceptional. They welcomed us warmly, helped us with our luggage, patiently answered all our questions, and supported us throughout our stay, always serving us in the best possible way.
Everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail: from the delicious tea offered to us, to the excellent dinner, which included several different options, all well-prepared and full of flavor.
Overall, it was a truly marvelous stay that I highly recommend to anyone visiting Merzouga. Riad Jouba is a real gem, and I would gladly return without hesitation.

First and foremost we would highly recommend this property to future visitors. It met all of our expectations. Since we were delayed on the road and arrived later than initially expected we missed the camel ride. However, our host made sure we were privately taken to the dunes by 4x4 in order to see the sunset. Much faster and bumpier and possibly much more fun! The staff was friendly and handled any request quickly. The tents were clean, comfortable and spacious. Surprisingly the shower pressure/hot water was fantastic. Just as good or better than any hotel room. The drums and music under the starry sky was a wonderful way to end the evening. Check out and the transfer back to town (where we parked our rental car) also went smoothly. Our possibly only Sahara experience in this lifetime will always be memorable for all the right reasons :)

The location was just perfect. Nestled among the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, of all the desert camps we saw when doing activities. Merzouga Luxury Desert Camps had the very best location. The staff went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay in the Sahara Desert. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they answered our every question. They were extremely polite, welcoming and kind and made our stay memorable. All the activities we wanted to do such as camel trekking and Quad biking were right there at our finger tips and organised by the staff whenever we requested something. The camp was so peaceful and the ambience in the desert was surreal. I would recommend a two night stay so you don’t have to rush away and can enjoy the peace and quiet of the desert in a leisurely way.

Very nice, typical hotel, personalized welcome. Outdoor parking on site. Relaxing atmosphere. Very pleasant pool with an exceptional view of the dunes. Second pool heated to 32 degrees and clean... wow it's wonderful to swim there in the evening with a starry sky. The food is delicious. Beer and wine at a reasonable price. Extraordinary, helpful and supportive staff. A detour is essential to discover this wonderful place, located at the gateway to the desert. One of the best places to explore the dunes. Asphalt road to the Riad.

We had a wonderful time at Auberge Sahara. Our host LaHsen welcomed us with mint tee and in general the people from the hotel were really kind and attentive.
For breakfast they had fresh orange juice and the food was tasty. The dinner was a traditional menu which was delicious.
The pool and accomodation was clean, the AC worked and the dunes started directly behind the backyard.
We did the camel sunset tour via them.
The camel ride was the typical touristic tour but worth it if you want to do it.
Everything was perfect!

Air-conditioned room, essential for Morroco winter and 🌵desert. The facilities are real good, I feel like I am in a hotel room. Big and clean, with comfortable beds. The place is close to dunes, you can easily walk around and see the desert sunset and sunrise. Dinner is served with four courses and included in the price. Really good dinner and tasty! The camel ride to and from the camp is 40 euro p.p. which is a reasonable price I think. The music is good as well. We enjoyed a lot in erg chebbi sand dunes!

I was also amazed how clean it was, how good the breakfast was.

It is located away from other camps and the busier dunes. So you can enjoy sunrise and sunset without the crowds and the loud quads. They provide transfer and the staff is very nice. Even if we were not many guests in a cold winter night, they made a fire and played traditional songs. They provide warm bedding to make the night comfortable even in freezing temperatures outside.

After a long day of travel, arriving at Elite Sahara Desert Camp felt like a soft landing. The calm atmosphere, the warm welcome, and the comfortable tent helped us relax immediately. Dinner was served without any rush, and the evening was quiet and enjoyable. We slept very well and woke up feeling refreshed.

Erfoud is famous for dates and location to the desert, other than that there is very little to do there at all. You will have to travel to Merzouga for camel rides, desert buggy, fwd tours and atv tours which is about 45 kms away.

Nothing at Elite Sahara Desert Camp felt forced or artificial. The experience was natural and easy. The tent was comfortable and well maintained. The staff were calm and friendly. Dinner was simple but very tasty. The evening felt real and peaceful, especially when we stepped away from the camp to enjoy the stars.

It was the perfect place for us to meet and get some rest the night before heading to Merzouga! Hassan is a lovely person and was super helpful in getting to and from his home. His home is extremely clean and spacious. Hassan was a great host! I would highly recommend his home.

It's a real mountain village..people are friendly but rough. Wanted to visit the wedding festival but unfortunately the dates available on the internet were incorrect. If you are interested in the wedding festival then please contact the local hotels to get information.

Staying at Elite Sahara Desert Camp allowed us to connect deeply with the desert landscape. The dunes, the sky, and the silence create a powerful environment. The camp itself is comfortable and thoughtfully designed. Our tent was spacious and clean, and the food was excellent. The experience felt both grounding and inspiring.
