⸻ We had a lovely stay at this hotel in Foum Zguid. Everything was very nice and well looked after. We arrived quite late, when the kitchen was already closed, but the owner still brought us two bowls of their homemade soup, along with fresh bread and dates, all offered for free. He also gave us a bottle of water, which we found to be a truly kind and thoughtful gesture, especially considering the late hour. Breakfast was also excellent and we enjoyed it on the rooftop terrace, which was a really pleasant way to start the day. The place feels very genuine, run by people who truly want their guests to feel comfortable and at ease. The only small note is purely personal: my pillow was a bit too thick for my taste, and I realised only later that I could have swapped it with another one. That was entirely my own preference and not an issue with the room itself. We also had a proper hot shower, which can feel like a luxury when travelling in the south of Morocco, so that was very much appreciated. Overall, this is a really nice place with a friendly atmosphere and a very kind owner. We would definitely recommend it.

Nice place to stay in Tata. You could visit the town, take a walk through the oasis valley below. Nice Sitting area. Breakfast was also good.

Kind, warm hospitality Small scale camp run by Mokhtar and his team, who put their heart and soul into it. Very clean, delicious food. Surrounded by dunes the true quit, serene desert experience I was looking for. The 2h expedition towards the camp from Foum zguid is very beautifully and def worth it! Enjoy!

Where to start....we kind of accidentally found this absolute gem owned and run by Zahra and her sister Myriam. They grew up basically next door to the camp and it has been Zahra's dream to establish this accommodation. The camp consists of 4 spotlessly clean and comfy tents with private toilets/showers and a beautiful outside area with seatings. The food is fresh and delicious ( we tried a veggie and a köfte tagine), the property absolutely well kept. But by far the best is the extraordinary kindness, hospitality and warmth of both of the two young women who welcome you to their world. We intended just to stay for one night but extended our stay and said goodbye with sad hearts. We hope to come back again! ❤️

Staying at the Riad was a highlight of my trip. This historic building of about 200 years old has been beautifully renovated and furnished. It offers a calm and relaxing space in stunning, atmospheric surroundings. Fatima and her staff run the Riad smoothly and hospitably and she speaks several languages to a high level. Situated close to the main road, it is nonetheless set apart in a wonderfully quiet location. The views from the room and especially the upstairs terrace at sunset and sunrise are breathtaking. Dinner and breakfast in the wonderful majlis were delicious and a particular highlight was sitting out under the colonnade with a tea. The perfect place to return to at the end of a long day's driving and adventuring! Top recommendation.

The People are extremely nice! We didn’t stay in the Riad, because we went spontaneously to a trip to the dessert organized at the same afternoon by the riad! We were alone in the camp and it was magnificent! Our Guides were so friendly and cooked the best Tajine for us ! At the next day he took us to his family in a tiny village in the dessert and to a tribe of Nomads! We had a really great time!!!! Thanks so much for everything! It was the best Dessert experience you could have! We were only three People!
