It was an absolute pleasure staying at Fontana. Reception immediately reached out to us after we booked the room and they were able to accommodate our early check-in and provided us detailed information about reserving us a spot in their parking garage. When we arrived, the hotel's owner and staff were exceptionally cordial and made sure that all of our needs were met. The hotel is centrally located in the heart of Budva with the old town located just a few minutes away and endless coastline in the other direction. There is a convenience store, large shopping mall, and countless beach-side restaurants within a 5 minute walking radius. The hotel itself has a wonderful restaurant located at the bottom floor, as well as a bakery/cafe and wine bar. Our room was very clean and spacious with a sizeable living room, bedroom, bathroom, and balcony. Located on the 4th floor, the view of the sea was remarkable, especially during sunrise and sunset. Breakfast has a great variety of food including fresh fruits, local cold-cuts and cheeses, warm dishes such as fried calamari and sausages, as well as fried eggs or omelets made to order. When we informed reception of our early 4am checkout, they packed us a lunch box for breakfast. We couldn't have asked for a better experience

The best thing about the accommodation is 100% the staff. The owners are extremely friendly, open and helpful. If you need a tip for activities in the area or anything else, you will be helped immediately. Many thanks especially to Lazar for his hospitality. The rooms are very nicely furnished and you sleep in these beds like in heaven. The cleaning staff are also very friendly and always in a good mood. You can spend the whole day relaxing by the pool. You can be in Budva within 10 minutes by taxi, it's nice and quiet up here compared to the lively town. The journey from the hotel to the city costs around 10 euros, make sure you agree on a fixed price before setting off, otherwise the taxi drivers will try to rip you off.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were very clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged. What truly stood out was the staff — everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. A special thank you to Deniz and Nadya, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. As well as Musa from Mogren 2 beach. They were always ready to assist with anything we needed. Hotel Aleksandar's location is excellent. The staff was friendly. The rooms were comfortable. Wifi worked well for me. Easy to get to the beach from hotel but it is a public beach so you do have to pay for the chairs. Breakfast was satisfying. A lot of options. Nice restaurants in the area. There are clubs outside the hotel so it does get noisy but honestly didn't bother me at all. Hotel has so much potential but owners don't do much to spruce it up. A nice paint job would go a long way. Our stay was comfortable. It wasn't as bad as the reviews make it seem.

Respect for entire team work! They permanently do their best for making everybody feeling great. Petar and Natasha are super leaders!!! They are always very supportive. Accomodation, parking, restaurant, beach are very well organized. The view from the restaurant terrace is breathtaking. Delicious "hrana"! We wish them good luck! Waiting to see them again next summer!!!!!

Really liked the small old town in Budva.

Really liked the small old town in Budva. It doesn't get too many tourists ( like Kotor) so is less crowded and more tranquil. I didn't like the fact you had to pay to walk along a part of the walled town. There are lots of small food places there (selling pizza, sandwiches, byreks, cakes), which is great and absent in lots of these type of places.

The area of Becici was great for a nice beach holiday. I didn’t like that every beach seemed to be allocated to a Hotel and we had to pay €30 for two beach lounges, but this was everywhere and I guess, just how it is done everywhere. We had a hire car so we were able to also visit Kotor, Tivat, Sveti Stefan and other areas, which were all within an easy drive. The exception being the major roadworks on the E65/80 to Tivat, but these will likely be completed by next summer.

Overall, a great place, every recommendation for the hotel. Great stuff, great food. Beautiful place, a lot of attention paid to nature. I was particularly impressed by the olive trees in the yard, and the attention paid to their preservation.

From the sveti stefan bus stop, it’s very easy to get around, buses to Budva Old Town run every 20 minutes, cost €2.5 one way, and take about 20 minutes. Taxi from Tivat airport is around €55–60 and takes about 40 minutes. For food, we often bought frozen homemade dishes from a Ukrainian shop in Budva, which were really tasty.

Beach is perfect, smallest pabbels, clear waters great for sweeming. I’d come bavk for longer stay inwsrmer season. Right on the beach there are several restaurants with good food. My recomendation eould still be restaurant on the top , main road, named Kusto. During summer reservation is needed. I would deffinitelly take a walk to St Stefan beach (20-30min thru pine trees and great beaches Kings beach Milocher & St Stefan beach.

The little haven of an authentic garden, less than 5 minutes from a bustling seaside promenade and beach. Shade to be found all day, place to eat takeout, make yourself a cuppa, or chill with wine you’ve kept in fridge. The sincere hosts: friendly, helpful, available, but living next door so not ever-present. Glad we stayed here and at Rafailovici rather than Boudva - beach options better. ‘Rafailovici tourist office’ is good destination to give taxi on arrival as after that, take narrow street down on right and half way down you’re there. Without luggage the buses back and forth are convenient for Budva. Note Summer 2025 - roadworks between Budva (&Kotor) a nightmare ongoing road building possibly a year - this means significantly higher bus travel time /taxi quotes from airport (Around €60 for 50 min journey although also got €80 quoted). Key jiggling for room 2 a bit of a challenge but otherwise everything spotlessly clean, simple, and comfortable beds.

I had a fabulous time at Villa Zoe, it was my first time in this part of Montenegro and I was amazed by the view, the serenity, the authenticity and the stunning sunsets. There is a hidden beach with a charming trail that only locales know, named beach bar Balun beach and had a great bar restaurant. The sunsets here are incredible

It is nice place during the major season because it is in the middle of many things like Kotor or beaches south from Budva or National Parks. It is not as crowded as Kotor and you can have nicer visit.

Traffic along the entire coast is very heavy and it takes at least 3 hours to reach the Croatian border (54 km). Drivers are quite unpopular...cars are left on the streets...everyone honks. It's better in the interior of the country. Food and drink prices are normal.
