I absolutely loved everything about my stay at ME Malta by Meliá! The staff were amazing and incredibly attentive. A special shoutout to Mylin from the Radio Rooftop, she recommended delicious food and went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Vinod from the breakfast section was extremely professional, and the reception team was exceptionally welcoming. Housekeeping and the bell staff were also excellent, and our room was spotless. The view was breathtaking, and honestly, everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations. I can’t wait to come back!

The hotel is located in an extremely convenient and strategic area, surrounded by numerous shops and supermarkets, including several that are open 24/7. There is a bus stop just 50 meters away, and at the same time a taxi ride to the historic center of Valletta costs under 10 euros, as does the trip to the airport, which makes getting around incredibly easy and stress-free. The rooms are spacious studio-type apartments, thoughtfully designed and very comfortable. Each studio comes with a fully equipped and perfectly functioning kitchen, including a refrigerator, oven, stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, and a complete set of cookware and utensils. It truly feels like a home away from home and is ideal for both short and longer stays. The room is exactly as on the pictures in booking.com What impressed us the most was the outstanding level of cleanliness. The apartment was cleaned daily with great attention to detail, and everything was consistently replenished. The standards were impeccable and exceeded our expectations. The management team was also exceptional — extremely responsive, professional, and genuinely helpful. Communication was smooth and efficient via phone, email, and WhatsApp, which made the entire stay even more pleasant and worry-free. Overall, this property offers an excellent combination of location, comfort, cleanliness, and service. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Malta.

The room was nice, clean and the a/c worked wonders. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and we were offered fresh omelette, that we really liked. The area was quiet and lovely - the ferry stop to Valletta was very near and you can get over in about 8 minutes, which was a great bonus. View from the roof terrass was also really nice. Locals were also super nice, and two different persons advised us on our way on how to get to the other bus stop that we had to use due to local market that was on the day we left. Only good things to say!

The host was exceptionally welcoming. The apartment was equipped with everything necessary for a family. Even our arrival was quite late due to flight schedule (11:00PM) he waited for us to show and explain the premises. There is coffee machine so you can start the day with an expreso or coffee.

A very convenient way to travel to Valletta by ferry.

A very convenient way to travel to Valletta by ferry. When in Valletta you take a lift near the ferry station and in a few seconds, you are in Valletta historic center. Its good to go there early. After 10 am its getting hot. We did not explore Birgu Center. But its Promenade is nice and peaceful, as a contrast to a noisy and crowded Valletta. Nice restaurants near promenade.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were excellent, beautifully presented and varied. The hotel was in a really interesting part of Malta, a bus ride away from Valletta but not too touristy. It had lots of good places to eat nearby at the water front. We particularly liked one of the Italian restaurants.

From all the places we visited in Malta (December so beaches were not in scope) we liked Vittoriosa the most. It is a perfect sample of Malteze architecture and way of life, away from the crowds. The waterfront is lovely and the Fort Sant Angelo is breathtaking. Definitely worh visiting!

Bormla/Cospicua was one of the most memorable parts of our stay in Malta. We loved walking along the waterfront and exploring the historic streets, bastions, churches, and harbour views across the Three Cities. The views are beautiful at any time of day, and the atmosphere is so immersive that it sometimes feels as though you have stepped into another century. What impressed us most was the care and commitment that local people and nonprofit organisations put into preserving and sharing the area’s history. The Malta at War Museum was a particular highlight. The enthusiasm and hard work of the people involved made the experience feel personal and meaningful rather than like an ordinary tourist attraction. We also enjoyed Fort St Angelo, Gardjola Gardens, the gorgeous churches, and walking around the old fortifications. The Three Cities are generally easy and enjoyable to explore on foot. Our only difficulty was the limited number of pedestrian crossings, although this seemed to be quite common across Malta rather than a problem unique to Bormla/Cospicua. Overall, Bormla/Cospicua was wonderful, and Malta as a whole was an amazing experience. It is a fantastic place for anyone interested in history, preservation, architecture, beautiful views, and the feeling of being transported into the past.

Beautiful quiet area.

Beautiful quiet area. Many historic buildings with plenty to see and do. Enjoy a coffee in the square whilst looking at your surroundings. A tour of the chuch and museums and a stroll down the medieval streets is really worthwhile. Try to local water taxi service - just a few Euro for a ride across the harbour.

It is rarely that comfort, style, practicality and friendliness come together into such an attractive package, but Eric, Michael, Nateesh and the lovely breakfast room ladies have created exactly this, presenting an oasis in the quieter part of Valetta . We loved every minute there, from the rooftop breakfasts to the giant, comfortable beds, to the minute attention to detail, such as providing a shoehorn in the wardrobe, daily water to the room, the lift, the brightness of the interior of the staircase and building due to intelligent use of architecture, it was all top class. We hear they are expanding with extra rooms and a rooftop pool, also! In many trips abroad and at home, I have no hesitation in assigning a 5/5 stars to Senglia Suites, and hope to revisit when the work is done. Great work, all, and thanks!

Loved the little streets and the marina. It was nice to walk around and look at all the super yachts moored there. The lovely square in the centre has cafes and restaurants as well as small shops and a bus stop. There is also the Malta at War Museum, the Inquisitors palace and the Fort which overlooks Valletta harbour. All worth a visit .

I must confess, before arriving I was not knowing much of Cospicua, but now I am completely under its charm. This little town, part of the historic Three Cities, is full of history at every corner — old baroque churches, ancient fortifications, narrow streets that tell stories of centuries of Maltese life. Walking there in the morning, with the local peoples saying "bonjour" — pardon, "good morning" — it felt so authentic, so far of the touristic atmosphere you find in other places. What I appreciated the most is the convenience of everything. There is a 24/7 grocery just some minutes by foot, so we never had to worry if we forgot something at night. And the promenade! It stretches from Bormla all around the Three Cities, all the way to Kalkara, with the harbour on one side and the beautiful old buildings on the other — perfect for a long walk in the evening, watching the boats and the sunset. Being so close to Valletta was also a big plus for us — only a ferry of 10 minutes, very frequent and not expensive, and suddenly you are in the capital with all its culture and monuments.

Birgu is full of history and a charming place.

Birgu is full of history and a charming place. Bays on both sides of the town and very good eateries. Lots of steps and quite hilly, makes for difficulty if you have mobility issues. If you hire a car the parking is extremely difficult and several areas are inaccessible to larger vehicles.
