We loved this boutique hotel with magnificent views to Valetta. Location on the sea front was perfect to get around and the room itself large with a fabulous balcony. The indoor pool and living room were superb as were the friendly, attentive & professional staff team headed up by Vicki. We were given lots of information locally as well as recommendations by the lovely Camila. And thanks too - to the staff in the restaurant, serving delicious breakfasts. Excellent all round - thank you.

Everything was just amazing!! Specially the staff in the hotel is so friendly and helpful. Starting from checkin to Checkout, I see the support and smiling faces of staff with very helpful attitude. Really wonderful stay and experience. I really like to appreciate events being organized by Bernese for the guests which were really entertaining. Also would like to appreciate all cleaning staff members specially Abhinav Kari who was so attentive and responsive. I was so happy to see that on my request, hotel staff arranged and decorated my room as it was our Anniversary Celebration. It was kind gesture from the property. Really thanks Mahesh and Azgar at the reception desk who were always supportive. It was a perfect staycation for us and would like to visit again for sure!!

The hotel was in a great location. Near restaurants, cafe places, cool playground at the end of the promenade. It is also near the bus stop, where buses take you anywhere in the island (Valetta, Mdina, Mosta, Cirkewwa etc.) We picked a room with a view and we loved it. We ate every breakfast in the balcony and just soaked in the view. The staff was all sooo kind and nice. From receptionists to cleaners to staff at the pool. Everyone seemed genuine and happy to see you. Apartment was very spacious. The pool was nice too. We like the outdoor one during the day and indoor one in the evening.

Great room with a view of the sea - which was really important to me when booking. It was a very large room with a fridge, and large bathroom - gave my friend and I lots of space to relax indoors, and a lovely balcony with a bistro table outside so we could drink wine and play games into the night while overlooking the sea. Great rooftop pool with incredible lounge chairs overlooking the amazing view of the sea. We booked motorbike rentals with Karen at the front desk who was really great to deal with. EXCELLENT breakfast that we had each morning.

The hotel is well located, in a quiet area. The breakfast is very varied and tasty. There are halal options which was a big plus for us. The staff is friendly, always available and helpful. Each evening, when we returned to the hotel, the room was cleaned and towels changed. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to go to Valletta, but you can also take the public transport bus (tallinja), either from stations located at 15 minutes from the hotel, or from a small station at 6 minutes walk.

Incredible view from the window. The location is great. There are 2 supermarkets nearby. I had a spacious room with a terrace and balcony. Breakfast is delicious, lots of choice. There's currently a lot of construction work, but the whole island is the same. Some new convenience shops have opened, snacks and drinks are easy to find Obviously visiting in February means things are different from the summer, some bars are being refurbished etc. Generally it was a nice holiday and I'll visit again

Sliema is a great base from which to explore Malta as the ferries stop there and there is an excellent bus service. Also easy to get around by Taxi. Lots of nice bars and restaurants but not too noisy.

The St Paul’s Bay was fantastic and the service was amazing. We enjoyed the Museum. We had a best dinner at nine lives restaurant. Enjoyed the bus trip to navigate to all our desirable destinations. For instance, Mdina, Valletta to mention but few.

Il-Gżira is not particularly beautiful; it mainly fills the space between Valletta and Sliema. The area feels crowded and, in some places, a bit dirty — even in February. Public transportation has noticeably worsened compared to previous years; we found it easier to get around in the summer of 2022 than now in February. On the positive side, there is a decent selection of restaurants and bars, and overall the dining options are quite good.

The Maltese are very welcoming and go beyond to help. Such a beautiful city with so much to explore and learn about ancient history. Easy access to other parts of Malta via regular bus routes. Delightful narrow streets and plenty of restaurants to chose from. Many steps and steep streets if you are feeling fit! Good exercise! Loved the fishing village in Marsaxlokk, great food and picturesque views. Blue grotto was well worth the trip as the caves are spectacular. If you are interested in pre historic then Hypogeum is a must. And if you want a local food experience, we had the most entertaining surprises at 'Legligin' restaurant in Valletta; best to go there feeling hungry! We also booked with BenGoodTour and he was very entertaining and the free walking tour was a great way to become familiar with your surroundings.

Mellieha is a lovely peaceful place if your looking for relaxation and a bit of walking and some fabulous views. Ubers are very easy to order to the area if you want to go further afield and these are the places i would recommend that you go and have a look at. The Silent City, lovely for a stroll around the cobbled streets, take a horse and carriage ride the guys are lovely and funny and half an hour is only 30 euros for a carriage of 3 people or mom dad and a couple of small kids. Then i would recommend a ferry ride over to Gozo, We found it better to avoid the tourist boat trips over because you wont have long enough over there to have a look around before you are hoiked back onto the boat. Buy a foot passenger 4 euro return ticked and go straight to Victoria. Bus or Bolt taxi. Its gorgeous. Spend a day walking around the town and seeing the sights and eating at the lovely restaurants. Eat at the Aurora Opera House. Sounds expensive...... well it isnt at all and the food is amazing. 9 euros for a fabulous fluffy pizza and a broad menu too. We were there over xmas and the vibe was perfect. We were a family of 8 with the youngest being 16 so I cant vouch for small person practicalities.

I love everything about this very location!

I love everything about this very location! St Thomas Bay Is very beautiful and even remarkable when you will discover the cliffs! If You would like to see a little bit of real nature in Malta, you should definitely visit this naturally preserved area. Some tasty and affordable food bars are just around the beach, guests can enjoy the sea view and delicious Maltese cuisine. If You prefer some night out activities, there are plenty of options for you in the city, just some enjoyable walk in 20 min will take you there.

Msida looks like a good midway point between Valleta and Sliema, but it's really a residential neighborhood with not much to offer to someone coming to Malta for vacation. In between the constant construction and abandoned and derelict houses, it's quite unsightly. On the flip-side, since it's residential, you get some good local spots with affordable prices and great quality.

Birżebbuġa is a chill, authentic Maltese seaside town — quieter than the busy tourist spots, with a nice waterfront, great local food, and an easy base for beaches like Pretty Bay and quick trips to Valletta and the south of the island.

We were glad that we stayed out of the centre of Valletta in...

We were glad that we stayed out of the centre of Valletta in this more peaceful area and yet it was very close to the centre and we really enjoyed the walk back to the apartment after visiting Valletta. In the area there are lots of things that are on the Floriana Historic trail. You are close enough to the centre to walk to restaurants in the evening but we had a lovely meal sat outside at Balzunetta restaurant.
