There's an excellent sandy beach just across the street. A beach that's rarely found in Malta. It's excellent for families with young children, as there are facilities and activities for kids.
The town is peaceful, with a long promenade by the sea.
The housekeeping staff are professional, friendly, and always ready to help. Special regards to Biljana and her colleagues.

We were surprised by the kindness and professionalism of all the staff, starting from the very welcome of the taxi driver at the airport who was extremely kind and friendly, showed us and explained the whole city during the ride. Even though we arrived before the official check-in time, the room was ready.
Every day the housekeeping did an excellent job. Since the water is not drinkable, they regularly leave a bottle of water, it is equipped with tea, coffee, a hairdryer, an iron etc. The breakfast was varied and of good quality, if you want eggs, they cook them as you order so you will never get cold scrambled eggs.
The reception staff is very friendly and ready to help at any time of the day or night. The location of the hotel is in the very center of Valletta, close to the main street and all attractions.
We are very pleased with the service and if we ever return to Malta, we will definitely stay at this hotel again!!

The indoor pool and living room were superb as were the friendly, attentive & professional staff team headed up by Vicki. Aldo, the manager, is undoubtedly the hero of my New Year's Eve and holiday experience. With exceptional communication skills and a radiant positive energy, his clear goal is to ensure guests enjoy their stay to the maximum. I am guaranteed to return and stay there again.
Originally, I had booked a stay at another hotel, which turned out to be unacceptable. Without any prior notice, I decided to check out and began searching for a new hotel. According to Booking.com, there were two available rooms at Alexandra. However, upon reaching the reception, the apologetic receptionist informed us of a system glitch on New Year's Eve. Everything was fully booked, but due to the glitch, the availability hadn't updated as it should have on Booking.com. I wasn't the only guest facing this issue that day. Fortunately, Aldo, the manager, was present at the reception and witnessed my predicament. After sharing my story, he miraculously secured an available room for me, even though it could only offer two single beds instead of a double. This detail was inconsequential to me; I simply needed a decent hotel room with any bed for the remainder of my stay in Malta.
Aldo not only saved my New Year by arranging a room at a very decent price but also worked his magic by securing a table for me at an already fully booked hotel restaurant for the New Year's Eve Dinner.
This hotel, available at a reasonable price, offers everything one needs and more. Thoughtful design elements, such as the pool temperature and room lighting, showcase careful consideration. While there is upcoming maintenance on the horizon, rest assured that it will not impact guests or their overall stay experience.
In conclusion, I highly recommend this hotel, thanks to Aldo's dedicated efforts and the overall positive ambiance it provides.

The hotel is well located, in a quiet area. The breakfast is very varied and tasty. There are halal options which was a big plus for us. The staff is friendly, always available and helpful. Each evening, when we returned to the hotel, the room was cleaned and towels changed. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to go to Valletta, but you can also take the public transport bus (tallinja), either from stations located at 15 minutes from the hotel, or from a small station at 6 minutes walk.

We booked two rooms and a parking space.
The check in and check out was so fast and smooth.
Breakfast was buffet with a lot of choices of cold cuts,salads muffins, American pancake etc...
We enjoyed the usage of Gym and indoor Pool ...
The room was comfortable and clean equipped with kitchen top,kettle,and hair dryer.
And also we got treat for all of us.
Our daughter was so happy with chocolate and sweets ☺️

Everything was amazing! The breakfast was amazing (they serve the same thing everyday, but there is a really wide selection, so you can try different things each day), the rooms were really nice and I loved their idea about room service/cleaning, and to top it of - the location was just perfect and the pool was so relaxing! Just keep in mind that you need to pre-book the pool :)

I really loved our stay at Salini resort, rooms were spaceous and comfortable and breakasts were great. The hotel is located quite further from the St. Pauls bay, but one bus ride can quickly fix it :) A beautiful hotel on a beautiful place, offering spectacular views over Salina bay.

All stuff are very polite and helpful! We’ve got a bunch of sale cards for food, spa and different attractions like Aquarium. You can reach any location by bus which stops right in the front of the hotel. Food is delicious in the restaurant Luzzo (which is AX company as well). :)

I don't usually go for All Inclusive as I find it too restrictive, but this place was great. The food was of good quality and there was a good variety. The room was spacious. Staff were great. Very clean building. Really good position in town.

St juliens had lots of bars and restaurants.
St juliens had lots of bars and restaurants. A short ride with a bus or taxi ride to valleta. The last bus from valetta but to st juliens was too full so i would recommend leaving early or take a taxi. St juliens was not as traditional as valetta in terms of architecture but still had a lot to offer and especially a beautiful stroll by the sea.

Great town with a variety of restaurants to visit along the waterfront and into the city itself. Buses and ferries to Valletta and other places are easily accessible also. Has plenty to see along the harbor and the boardwalk is a nice day walk along the sea. A very safe area, no noticeable problems that I saw. People were very friendly and helpful.

St Paul's Bay offers a bit of everything, relaxing places for a swim or a walk. Some historical places. Plenty of places where to eat and enjoy entertainment across all ages, from kids to teens, young adults and older ones. It's a good location for solo, couple, family and group travel.

The Domus Zamitelo is an exceptional Boutique Hotel in the best location in the heart of Valletta. The pedestrian Street outside the hotel is very busy however as soon as you step inside it is super quiet and cosy. The staff here are all wonderful warm and kind and nothing is too much trouble. This is our second visit here and will be back as you cannot fault anything. Thanks to Moul, Maria and Sandra for our lovely stay and birthday treats of fizz and cake.

We had a wonderful stay in this two-bedroom apartment with stunning sea views overlooking the Grand Harbour. The location is ideal, close to all amenities, which made everything very convenient. The apartment was highly finished, spotlessly clean, and extremely comfortable. We truly enjoyed our time here and cannot wait to book it again!

Mellieha is a lovely peaceful place if your looking for relaxation and a bit of walking and some fabulous views. Ubers are very easy to order to the area if you want to go further afield and these are the places i would recommend that you go and have a look at. The Silent City, lovely for a stroll around the cobbled streets, take a horse and carriage ride the guys are lovely and funny and half an hour is only 30 euros for a carriage of 3 people or mom dad and a couple of small kids. Then i would recommend a ferry ride over to Gozo, We found it better to avoid the tourist boat trips over because you wont have long enough over there to have a look around before you are hoiked back onto the boat. Buy a foot passenger 4 euro return ticked and go straight to Victoria. Bus or Bolt taxi. Its gorgeous. Spend a day walking around the town and seeing the sights and eating at the lovely restaurants. Eat at the Aurora Opera House. Sounds expensive...... well it isnt at all and the food is amazing. 9 euros for a fabulous fluffy pizza and a broad menu too. We were there over xmas and the vibe was perfect. We were a family of 8 with the youngest being 16 so I cant vouch for small person practicalities.

This is a much better option for a few days stay than nearby Marsaxlokk, which by contrast is overly touristy and absolutely packed full of people on market day. Marsaskala has some lovely bars and restaurants and is on a beautiful bay. Parking is free and easy to find and public transport is easily available here too.

Msida looks like a good midway point between Valleta and...
Msida looks like a good midway point between Valleta and Sliema, but it's really a residential neighborhood with not much to offer to someone coming to Malta for vacation.
In between the constant construction and abandoned and derelict houses, it's quite unsightly.
On the flip-side, since it's residential, you get some good local spots with affordable prices and great quality.

Birżebbuġa is a chill, authentic Maltese seaside town — quieter than the busy tourist spots, with a nice waterfront, great local food, and an easy base for beaches like Pretty Bay and quick trips to Valletta and the south of the island.

We were glad that we stayed out of the centre of Valletta in this more peaceful area and yet it was very close to the centre and we really enjoyed the walk back to the apartment after visiting Valletta. In the area there are lots of things that are on the Floriana Historic trail.
You are close enough to the centre to walk to restaurants in the evening but we had a lovely meal sat outside at Balzunetta restaurant.
