This beautiful residential property is located in a very special ecological zone of majestic Malta, just next to the most spectacular natural landscape of the region. The nearest beach is just across the road ( St Thomas Bay ) with some sandy and cliffs surrounding. My room was in the 1st floor, spacious, with an ensuite bathroom with a bath tub! TV, towels, WiFi, tea kettle with a cup set, everything was just the way I would love to have! Fantastically and artistically decorated hotel with a variety of paintings and some extra interior decor. Friendly and welcoming staff! Not far from another important historical location such as the Three Cities. Some lovely local bars and cafes are also available for tourists in the area. Swimming pool is open for guests! A variety of breakfast options are offered in the hotel. Highly recommended!

Casa Rosanna is an absolutely enchanting boutique hotel set in the most beautiful bay. The area is full of charming cafés and wonderful restaurants, each adding to the warm, inviting atmosphere. The breakfast was simply unforgettable — everything my heart could have wished for and more. We stayed in a room with a terrace, and the view over the entire bay was truly breathtaking. It’s a place that stays with you long after you leave.

Ersilia was very kind and helpfull host, even recommended us few spots and points to see in Malta. Everything was clean, room with AC, rarely we got in contact with other guests of accomodation. At last day we had late fligt and Ersilia offered us to leave luggage at her appartment till we leave to airport :)

After we travelled around the island we realised that...

After we travelled around the island we realised that Maraskala was a smaller quieter part of Malta - and were so pleased. It felt like a lovely neighbourhood, easy walking around the harbour with swimming spots accessible by ladders towards the end on both sides. Sufficient hospitality options - but no large bars or nightclubs which was a plus. Well serviced by bus, but Uber was a better time vs money option.

I love everything about this very location!

I love everything about this very location! St Thomas Bay Is very beautiful and even remarkable when you will discover the cliffs! If You would like to see a little bit of real nature in Malta, you should definitely visit this naturally preserved area. Some tasty and affordable food bars are just around the beach, guests can enjoy the sea view and delicious Maltese cuisine. If You prefer some night out activities, there are plenty of options for you in the city, just some enjoyable walk in 20 min will take you there.

This is a much better option for a few days stay than nearby...

This is a much better option for a few days stay than nearby Marsaxlokk, which by contrast is overly touristy and absolutely packed full of people on market day. Marsaskala has some lovely bars and restaurants and is on a beautiful bay. Parking is free and easy to find and public transport is easily available here too.

Whilst out of the way of the city the marina area is vibrant and well serviced with bars/restaurants. Pleasant stroll to a decent but small beach with bar/restaurant. Very well served for travel around the island… cheap buses and taxis.

The bay area is lovely and full of cafes and eateries many of which are reasonably priced. Walking round the harbour (right side as you face it from the main bus stop) there are a number of constructed salt pans designed to provide a home for sea life when the tide is out which was really interesting to see. A bit further along was a newly renovated fort, St Thomas Tower, which had an incredibly interesting history focusing on piracy and the corsairs! The only downside to staying in Marsaskala was the extensive work being carried out on the harbour front itself which blocked the lovely view while sitting in the cafes.

The main hotel was probably fully booked, so we got an upgrade/switch to an apartment located just across the street with the possibility of using all the hotel amenities including pool and bar. Apartment was spacious, with a balcony, very clean - nothing to complain about. There is no separate parking provided by the hotel, but parking spaces were easily found in the hotel vicinity. Walking distance to restaurants and Marsascala promenade. Good breakfast.

I really liked the staff, they were all very nice and helpful. The beach is 2 minutes from the hotel and the store is right there. A bus station is also 2 minute walking distance with great connections. The centre of Marsascala is max 15 minutes walk and is just beautiful. A wonderful place for an evening stroll with nice restaurants and the best ice cream shop in Malta - Sottozero gelato factory.

Spacious apartment with everything you need for a wonderful stay. I used to live in St. Julian’s and when come back to Malta usually stay there as well. Because we were visiting friends in Zabbar decided to try Marsaskala. We were positively surprised with the house, restaurants in the area and places to swim.
