Beaches were good. Restaurants & Bars were all good we visited quite a few. Special mention to one80 Kitchen & Lounge just up the hill. The best food, drink & service with a fabulous view (so good we also ate at the one in Gozo Harbour). Al Ponte in the town was another with great food & service. Blu Beach Club again very good service, good food & drinks especially the cocktails. Nora's Lounge Diner & Thai Thai are also worth a visit as are Ventuno Restaurant halfway along the beach & Munchies Mellieha Bay at the far end of the beach both downstairs & upstairs. To get around we just used the buses. Cheap - 2 Euros per person for 2 hours - you can get on & off as much as you want & the buses are frequent.
I stayed close to the main square which is unique with the local church dominating it. A wonderful sight. Directly behind the church is an outdoor family café which has an outstanding view of part of the sea. Great photo op! The best sandy beach on Malta is a short five minute drive away which can also be reached via the very regular public bus service. Many pubs, bars, cafes and restaurants around Mellieha many of which are well worth visiting.
mellieha is a really nice part of Malta, not too crowded, lots of cafes/restaurants, some local sites to see, and within good distance of others. Best if you are more into walking, countryside, perhaps local beaches and cafes. Gem's and sea view cafes near the bottom of the hill, as well as kitchen co at the top end. Mellieha is probably not as good if you are looking for a night life spot (try st julians) or city couture (valletta instead). would certainly go back there again.
Away from the busyness of Velletta. PLENTY of good restaurants. Convenient to everything, especially Gozo. The island was busier than we were expecting, but ESPECIALLY the Valletta area. Mellieha was a relief from that.
Mellieha is a quiet small town on the northern coast of Malta. Good for public transport to other cities (Valetta, Sliema, Bugibba and even Mdina with a change of bus in Bugibba), and to the ferry terminal for Gozo and Comino island ferries. Lots of restaurants to choose from in different price ranges and all of them offerings simple dishes like pizza and pasta for the kids. Beware that portions in Malta are BIG and there's generally no need for a starter:-) Perfect for families with children as it's a short walk down the hill to Mellieha bay/beach with its crystal clear waters. If I was travelling with spouse alone, I'd probably stay nearer to Valetta.
Mellieha is a very nice town. We visited cathedral, shops, some restaurants nearby. There was a wonderful view from the cathedral. The sea was lovely. We enjoyed sandy beach in Mellieha and also some rocky beaches. I do reccomend to visit the Aquarium, Papay Village, Comino, Gozo and Valleta. The traffic was pretty busy. The busses are sometimes late and sometimes they stuck in roads.
-The location is spot on perfect. Far from the busy Valetta area, and in the northern calm side of the island. If you are looking for a relaxed place this is it. -The rooms are spacious and modern. Space is scarce In Malta, but even by US hotel standards the room is huge. And so is the bathroom. Bulit in summer '21 the hotel is clean and modern. -The staff was amazingly kind and helpful. From the receptionist to the housekeeper, we can only sey good words about them. -We wanted a private luxurious hotel, and Lure delivered.
Maritim is a nice hotel, well placed close to a bus stop which takes you all over the island. The sea is a 15 minute walk away. The nearby restaurants offer an excellent selection . The breakfast buffet has lots of options and the breakfast staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The Thai restaurant and rooftop pool were very good. The room was a good size. Highly recommend a trip to paradise bay.
The location is quite good and convenient for travel. The bus stop is 1 minute away. Cleanliness is at an excellent level. The staff is kind and courteous. I chose this hotel mainly because of the view. This is the most beautiful view in Malta. Gozo and Comino are visible.

Mario is an exceptional host, very helpful with anything you need or ask. The apartment was clean, it is spacious, it has air-conditioning and everything you need. Mario even provided us with socket adapters(Malta has UK socket type).
Very close to the beach, one of the best beaches in Malta, had a partial view of the sea which was lovely. The waiters were very kind and accommodating. We rented a car from the lobby in the hotel which was also a nice perk.

Everything was perfect with this hotel..many option of foods ..the staff are friendly..hotel location bit far from the capital but there is many buss in every 15 minuts and only with 2 euro you can reach the capital of Malta.
The room was spacious and quite warm (in comparison with other hotel rooms we stayed in Malta). Kids enjoyed the indoor pool, playroom and playground. We appreciated the proximity of the hotel to the ferry to Gozo.
The location remains perhaps one of the most beautiful in Malta, and the views from the rooms are second to none. The hotel is impeccably clean and the facilities/services offered are also of a high standard.
Everything was amazing. Staff, waitresses, cleanliness, breakfast. Hotel is new. I guess this hotel has the best sea view from entire Malta. Highly recommend this hotel! Trust me everyone!
We use the solana hotel during the year quite alot. The food is excellent. Staff is very friendly.
