The hotel was very clean and at a great location. The personnel was perfect. When my wife was a bit sick for a couple of days, the personnel was more than helpful.

Our stay at Palazzo Castagna Boutique hotel was an unparalleled experience. The serene room, outstanding staff, and exceptional food all combined to create a memorable stay. I had read several reviews mentioning the disturbance caused by nearby church bells. However, to our delightful surprise, this was not our experience at all. Even with the hotel's proximity to the church, our room remained a haven of peace and quiet. With the windows closed at night, we didn't hear a single bell, ensuring uninterrupted sleep and a serene atmosphere. This hotel is not just a place to stay; it's a destination in itself, one that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking a flawless hotel experience. A well-deserved ten out of ten!

The accommodation was very nice for the price, staff was friendly and the food at the restaurant was amazing. We were a group of friends and felt amazing. The beach is a 3 minute walk as well and the hotel has a bar which is also good.

This property is beautiful and serene. The sauna and pool were a wonderful bonus to our stay. Thick robes, and slippers, beautiful decorum, soft music, warm showers and the private massage was over the top. The breakfast was amazing, the best ever for a small establishment. Everything you could want, hot, cold, fruit, meat, cheese, eggs, pastries. Staff is amazing and very helpful. The owners have built a beautiful oasis retreat keeping to design values of the Island creating relax areas throughout the property. The bed was comfortable and decorations modest and functional. They have really put their heart into every detail. Would stay here again if we ever get a chance to come back to Malta.

The facilities were surprisingly luxurious. Extremely clean. And the bed was one of the best I've have in a long time. Also a 10mins walk to a nice restaurant area. And the staff were warm and welcoming.

We stayed for 3 nights and the Hotel is very good located in the center of Valetta, More or less close to everything. Very kind staff very service minded in many ways just a small gesture that we were offered water when we came there after a long travel. One of the staff member named Santiago was really professional and helped us with a lot of things. Breakfast was really good and the room and bathroom very clean. Yeah

A fantastic boutique hotel who is so attentive about detail . I went there because my wife had her birthday and went the extra mile to offer a complimentary Prosecco and the bed decorated with flowers . The manager had enough time to chat with us about our stay .

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The service was truly exceptional - the staff genuinely cared and took great care of us. The room was quite small, but it was spotlessly clean and the shower was wonderful. The location is perfect if you want to be in a quieter part of town while still having easy access to everything. I would happily stay here again.

It was one of the most pleasant stays! The staff was more than friendly and welcoming, the location was ideal for what we wanted to do and just brief 5 min walk to the ferry to Valetta. Breakfast was delicious and it had a lot of variety. Plus the rooftop offered a very nice view. Thank you and if we ever come back in Malta we will definetely return here!

Absolutely amazing place.Very good contact with the owners. Brilliant location,you are literally in the heart of 3 cities with stunning views every corner.Seconds away from ferry to Valetta..The room was great,comfortable beds, everything that you need like iron, hair dryer, even a bottle of water everyday.Cleaning spotless!!! Much recommended.

Very nice hotel, the room is spacious and we had a flexible check in and a late check out. The breakfast is simple but very good and Klari is very polite and friendly person.

The staff is really the shining star of this hotel. I wish I could remember the name of the gentleman who assisted me on my arrival on May 30th - because he was so exceptional (it wasn't the manager who wasn't there). Either way - exceptional hotel. Gorgeous rooftop with a view of the harbour. Also the unique character of the former Palazzo really shines through. There's a ferry service at the door of the hotel to take you to Valletta which is quite fun. And Birgu itself is charming and historical. I nice change from the more over-touristed pace of Valletta.

The room was very cozy, the bed, duvet, and pillow were amazing. We slept great. The cleanliness was really excellent. The location was perfect, just a few steps and you are at the marina. We were a bit cold, but when we turned on the air conditioning, everything was fine. Breakfast was very good.
