It looks brand new and clean with a mini fridge/refrigerator, a microwave, and queen beds in different rooms (good for privacy). The beds are very comfortable. The TV is in a different room but only has a few English channels. Clean bath. The pool is clean. Walkable to the beach.

Located very close to La Mirador/“Mannys” beach, which we loved for exploring the tidal pools-especially at low tide-and great sandy sections for swimming. Much less touristy and crowded than Sandy Beach area. Property is adults only (yay) impeccably maintained, super clean. Staff were genuine and truly made us feel like we were family. (Kudos to Efron who helped us order in delicious local fare). . Jill’s bar for outstanding live music super close, too.

We have stayed here many times. We like the location and we like the hotel itself along with the restaurant. The price when booked was lower than what we got charged at the time of arrival. I don't understand why.

I have been going to Puerto Penasco for forty nine years.

I have been going to Puerto Penasco for forty nine years. I have never had a problem or a bad time. Everyone we met or dealt with was very pleasant and helpful. Of course, over the years I have seen much change in Puerto Penasco and I would say it is for the better. There are so many dining and entertainment options now and the infrastructure of the city has improved.

I went to a sports tournament so didn't have a chance to site see but the center of town was very nice and quaint. The food if you know where to go, is awesome. Carne asada, machaca, coyotas, etc. Would definitely go again.

place was nice and clean, views are really nice, people are friendly. nice and quit at nights. getting around was easy coffee place around the corner. it had a particular smell on the outside of the facilities early in the mornings. check in was late and check out a little early, other than that, I will give it a 10 😀

The museum of history at the city centre was good, but the numbers on objects often did not match with the nicely translated book that was handed to us at the entrance. That would be easy to correct, and should be done. The cemetery and casa las Delisias were very interesting, and the cathedral quite a beautiful building from the past. The Tourist information building had no maps of the city available, and provided no information on any events. It would be good to make sure good information in English is available there for poor Spanish speakers/readers. Dona Lola restaurant served very good food. The restaurant in the city centre was less good.

Navojoa is the best place to stay for one of the nights if...

Navojoa is the best place to stay for one of the nights if traveling between the Puerto Vallarta area and the Nogales area. (Mazatlan is the other overnight stop.) I make it a 3 day, 2 night trip between the 2. About 7.5 hour drive each day.

Sonoran Sky Resort was very nice. The nearby town of Puerto Peñasco is a mixed bag. If you like to party and that Desert Baja feel, this town is for you. It is a series of tourist traps which is fine because there are plenty of bars and restaurants all within a few blocks. During the day the town is safe. At night you just want to be aware of your surroundings. We saw no fighting and no crime during our stay and everyone was friendly. There are beggars but that too is to be expected. They aren't aggressive. Just a lot of them. Prices are the same as in the US. No real discounts whether paying in Peso or USD.

Hermosillo is not a tourist destination by itself since it is more business oriented. There are not many places to go or things to do; however, it is about a little more than an hour driving to the beaches of San Carlos or Bahía de Kino.

I came last year in June, the weather was perfect. Not very recommended in March, it was cold, windy and my kids couldn't swim in the beach or pool... They enjoyed the views and restaurants, especially Mariscos el Rey.

Alamos is such an interesting colonial town.

Alamos is such an interesting colonial town. So much history and architecture. Don't miss the Mirador; perhaps take a trolley tour. We also tasted bacanora for the first time. Good dining options, strolling and photography. Next time i want to do more hiking in the local hills. Also, don't miss a side trip to La Aduana.

Navojoa is not a tourist destination; it is a typical...

Navojoa is not a tourist destination; it is a typical agricultural town and not particularly attractive. We go there because it is my wife's home town so we visit family. Regarding other reviews of Hacienda Cazadores that mention road and train noise, this is true but there is NO HOTEL in Navojoa that does not suffer the same problem (after nearly 30 years of going there I know this to be true). Frankly, Cazadores has the least noise from the road and train because the walls are so thick.
