It looks brand new and clean with a mini fridge/refrigerator, a microwave, and queen beds in different rooms (good for privacy). The beds are very comfortable. The TV is in a different room but only has a few English channels. Clean bath. The pool is clean. Walkable to the beach.

Located very close to La Mirador/“Mannys” beach, which we loved for exploring the tidal pools-especially at low tide-and great sandy sections for swimming. Much less touristy and crowded than Sandy Beach area. Property is adults only (yay) impeccably maintained, super clean. Staff were genuine and truly made us feel like we were family. (Kudos to Efron who helped us order in delicious local fare). . Jill’s bar for outstanding live music super close, too.

The attention was amazing. We wanted a room a little bit closer to the beach and they did what they could to help us have the best time there. Additionally, after our check out, we had an accident on the road to Mexicali and they were really helpful by providing us several options of towing companies in Puerto Peñasco. We are so grateful for what they did. I recommend a lot to stay there.

The breakfast is omelette or scrambled or over easy eggs. The buffet has chilly meat, chiqillas, yogurt, fruit, fruit drinks, coffee, and other Mexican food items. It cost $14 all inclusive buffet. The restaurant staff provide great customer service.

We loved this hidden gem in Mexico.

We loved this hidden gem in Mexico. They say Puerto Penasco - " where the desert meets the sea". So true. There is literally nothing but desert until you reach the coastline. When you do the views are stunning. There are a lot of activities at the resort to so. Or you can just relax on this beautiful beach simply amazing. Went to celebrate or 29th Wedding Anniversary and relax. There are plenty of restaurants in the area with varing cuisine choices. All in all a great vacation and great value. We can't wait to go back.

place was nice and clean, views are really nice, people are friendly. nice and quit at nights. getting around was easy coffee place around the corner. it had a particular smell on the outside of the facilities early in the mornings. check in was late and check out a little early, other than that, I will give it a 10 😀

Hermosillo is not a tourist destination by itself since it is more business oriented. There are not many places to go or things to do; however, it is about a little more than an hour driving to the beaches of San Carlos or Bahía de Kino.

Navojoa is the best place to stay for one of the nights if traveling between the Puerto Vallarta area and the Nogales area. (Mazatlan is the other overnight stop.) I make it a 3 day, 2 night trip between the 2. About 7.5 hour drive each day.

The town is what you would expect for Mexico.

The town is what you would expect for Mexico. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. There are some really great restaurants there with excellent food and service whether it's at a local basic place or one of the more expensive places. The beach and sea are wonderful to relax and swim. Driving is a little chaotic, but manageable. My son and husband really enjoyed renting jet skis. Casa El Capitan restaurant is up on the hill with amazing views and food.

I came last year in June, the weather was perfect. Not very recommended in March, it was cold, windy and my kids couldn't swim in the beach or pool... They enjoyed the views and restaurants, especially Mariscos el Rey.

Many good quality restaurants of all types of food and price ranges to meet your personal budget, easy to get around, basic shopping mall nothing to wow about, great weather as it almost never rains and temperatures in mid 80 to low 90 april to September. As any city, get in the wrong neighborhood and trouble will find you, stick to business and hotel zones your good to go, San Carlos Beach awesome just 50 minute drive south, visible police without being overbearing, very protective of tourist as many Canadians and Americans are frequent visitors.

Navojoa is not a tourist destination; it is a typical agricultural town and not particularly attractive. We go there because it is my wife's home town so we visit family. Regarding other reviews of Hacienda Cazadores that mention road and train noise, this is true but there is NO HOTEL in Navojoa that does not suffer the same problem (after nearly 30 years of going there I know this to be true). Frankly, Cazadores has the least noise from the road and train because the walls are so thick.

When I had my truck detailed, the fishermen came, and we had a spontaneous fish fry with potatoes. $5 for three huge fish. $5 to have it cooked. The fishermen will even deliver fresh fish to where I live in Vino Valle de Gudalupe. I shopped at a little store and got 4 bags for $40. The store had great tamales. My auto repair only cost $15. I was so shocked, I tipped $5. I booked extra days. I did not want to leave. I have not even been to the beach yet. My doctor here only charged me $6. laps $20. Medications $20. I lost my insurance in the US. The doctors in Baja are young and not experienced as my doctor in Puerto Peñasco. I used to live here but I always move in the summer if the landlord won't fix the AC. I stayed at a 3-bedroom villa for less than a motel room that accepts pets, no extra charge. I avoid tourist places to save money and spend more time with Sonorans. Extremely kind and treats me better than any place I travel. I prefer Sonoran Mexican food to Baja. I am in the wine Italian section in Baja. I have friends who are Vegan that move to the Gulf of Mexico. Why would you avoid eating the best seafood in the world?

The town was easy to get around and the locals all seemed nice. Everything was well kept and the staff at the local restaurants were great. We stopped at the grocery store and found what we needed for a decent price. They even had self check out options.
