- From $196.45 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 1,262 reviewsGreat location, 10 minute walk to Red Square. Many restaurants nearby, a shopping mall across the street. The Majestic is a beautiful hotel, colonial style. When we arrived we were offered cold towels and a basket of delicious tea and cookies, which was very nice. Our room was large and comfortable. We had breakfast included and it was a la carte in their restaurant. We are vegetarian and found the breakfast menu to have very limited choices but our waiter, Yudi was very helpful and accommodating and we worked around the menu and had a nice breakfast every morning. It was always nice to be greeted by Yudi's wonderful smile each morning and he went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He's a great asset to the Majestic Hotel and we thank him for his kind and gracious service.Guest review byDiannaUnited States

Suitable for you to just destress and spend the day in your room. Beds were comfy, check in was seamless and the overlook was a bit moody, urban and rustic. My personal advice: Go and spend some time and enjoy yourself in Malacca. Lot of things to explore especially during weekends. Good people, good food but still take extra care of yourself when ever in a foreign place.Guest review byTun KamaruddinMalaysia - 10.0

You need to take your time to explore and enjoy the abundance that they have to offer. some folks may say it a dead city. it all depend which angle you are looking and the expectation you have. by foot is mostly recommended where fine details and culture lied everywhere. friendly and helpful local are everywhere if you need assistance.Guest review byYKF - 8.0

Melaka is a popular historical country, wherever you go, you need to plan ahead. but dont rely too much on online booking, like for us, when we want to book for the Ayer Keroh Zoo,all online booking stated fully booked. but when we went there physically, it was available all the way. a bit frustated with the Zoo though, a lot of animal sites are empty or under construction, but the Dinasour Experience are the best, especially for kidsGuest review byAs - 8.0
The calmness of the town is unique.
The calmness of the town is unique. I liked the food they served in the shops, very authentic. Unlike the big towns in Malaysia, this little town has its own uniqueness in the food, the scenery & the peace. Its awesome for Nature lovers. Its like visiting our past in the late 60s/70s. The people there are so friendly.Guest review byLetchumySingapore - 10.0
Near to the center of Malacca.
Near to the center of Malacca. Homestay was very clean and comfortable. The host was also very helpful during the check-in/out process. The process of check-in/out is very easy. Would recommend it for those who travel with friends and family. 1 bedroom with two queen beds can fit 4 people. Airconditioning, TV, iron, and everything are well-function.Guest review byAnonymous - 2.0
My Experience at Swiss Garden Melaka – A Warning to Future...
My Experience at Swiss Garden Melaka – A Warning to Future Guests I stayed at Swiss Garden Melaka, Room No. 028 on the 19th floor, from 18th to 19th July 2025. During my stay, my car — a Perodua Myvi with registration W xxx D — was damaged by a hit-and-run driver while parked in the hotel’s Level 7 guest parking area. I immediately reported the incident to the hotel on the same day but was told the management was on leave and asked to wait until the next working day. Since then, I have made numerous calls and sent multiple emails but have received no proper response. On 4th August 2025, I spoke with a staff member named Rohaya, who responded rudely and unprofessionally, refusing to provide answers and telling me to wait for a call from management. Shortly after, another staff member named Harith from the JMB department informed me that there is no CCTV coverage in the parking area and that the hotel cannot assist further. Swiss Garden Melaka is a 4-star hotel, yet their staff’s attitude and lack of responsibility in this matter are unacceptable. I parked my car right beside the lift in an area under their administration, and now I am forced to bear the repair costs alone. I urge Swiss Garden Melaka to take responsibility for the safety of their guests and their property. It is unfair for customers to be ignored and left to deal with such incidents without any support. To the public and future guests, please be cautious when parking your vehicles here. I hope my experience encourages the hotel to improve their service and accountability.Guest review byGunaMalaysia - 8.0

A location in older part of town, not far from historical attractions. However not in the proper Kampung Morten precint the locals know. Nearby scenic river walk. Public transport nearby. Historical kampung Hulu mosque over the river footbridge, 400 metres away. Resonable shopping in local shops. Further from upmarket plazas. Unfortunately, the footpaths in this location/general area are either non-existant or painfully uneven. Some shop traders have made a lovely entrance to their shop, but raised the footpath infront of their premises by upto 20 cm. Every 2nd-3rd shop entrance is different to the last...hopeless for a baby pusher.Guest review byMareeAustralia - 6.0
food and heritage site the main draw.
food and heritage site the main draw. Jonker street still good despite the closure of many antiques shops and old favourites. Nostalgic lanes, heritage architeture still intact and instagramable. But new shops have taken over and if cafes are your tick, then its good Peranakan Mansion for great nyonya food, chicken rice balls, cafes, SanSokKong for all your fav titbits Grabbing is easy, fast and price is reasonable Night view is nice esp the River Cruise and the loud music from the trishaw abit too jarring But the malls can do better, old run down and lackingGuest review byLindaSingapore
