This place is magic! So much genuine hospitality and care in wonderful, tranquil nature. Francisco came to pick us up from the bus and waited for an hour because the bus broke down. We arrived to wonderful dinner, made from ingredients grown on his farm. The next day we explored the Somoto Canyon, which was amazing. Returned to more wonderful meals and hanging out with all the cute animals which are all part of the family. It was our highlight in Nicaragua!

Lovely stay with Juan and his family. This place is really a home stay and not a hostel, which was a pleasant surprise for me. I had tremendous fun jumping and swimming down Somoto Canyon with Juan on his tour. Delicious (and inexpensive!) meals by his wife. I extended my stay an extra night it was so pleasant. Cool air in the evenings, and warm during the day. Far enough off the highway to barely hear the trucks going by. Great WiFi to watch Netflix. What a wonderful introduction to Nicaragua this was!

The place is very clean and nice. The staff is very nice and breakfast was very good. The communal area is also very quiet and good for working. Emir is very patient with helping me correct my elementary Spanish. Emir organized my Somoto Canyon tour, the Guide Bayardo had excellent service taking care of people. Lunch after the Canyon tour was also very delicious.
