The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. She gave me two great tips for quick cycles on the morning of my departure. Location right at the end of the fjord was lovely, breakfast was very good and nice touches with free coffee and lovely sitting area overlooking the fjord

An absolutely beautiful place with stunning panoramic views, complete peace and quiet, and a wonderful atmosphere. The house is very modern, spotless, new, and well maintained. It has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The coffee was delicious and high quality, the furniture was very comfortable, and everything was exceptionally clean. The staff provided all the necessary instructions, which made entering the property very easy.

Synnøve was a great host. She greeted us warmly, delivered us and baggage to house, and even offered to dry our wet hiking shoes. The lodge was perfect for our family (two adults and two-college-age children). The view is spectacular. The living room and kitchen face almost 180-degree floor-to-ceiling windows of the Lustrafjorden, the innermost part of the Sognefjorden. The same view is available on the deck below (outside). The experience is to sit with a cup of tea (or over dinner) and watch the water peacefully and without rush. It was a joy.
