And the wine accompaniment to each course were well chosen. Lastly, the activities guided by Ville were very enjoyable and appropriate for my fitness & adventure level.

This was our first stay in Norway and we absolutely got blown away with the hospitality and kindness we received from the owner. The room was fresh and cosy with amazing views. The patio had ha shared fireplace for bbq or just enjoy the Fjord. The breakfast was very nice and had many options, and we got served freshly baked bread. This is a really nice place to stay!

The staff were all so welcoming and they really take customer service seriously, from the receptionists to the restaurant waiters, the mushers and the guides, they made us feel special. We stayed the first night in the snow hotel in the first room with the fireplace. We were given a tour of the facilities and an explanation on how to sleep on the ice beds in the sleeping bags. We were afraid we would be cold but the sleeping bags were actually quite warm and you also get woolen socks and balaclavas. We had quite a comfortable sleep and it was certainly a once in a lifetime experience to try! The snow hotel itself is a work of art, each room is unique and there is an ice bar as well which serves drinks in ice glasses. It's definitely worth a visit even if you don't spend the night there. On the second night we stayed in one of the Gamme cabins, which are very comfortable and have a huge glass window perfect to look out for the aurora. The breakfast buffet and set dinner were delicious, serving local dishes such as reindeer steak, arctic char and king crab salad. They also cater to dietary preferences if you inform them in advance. Lunch is available at the Gabba restaurant, the choices a bit limited, but we enjoyed the free-flowing hot berry juice there. There is also tea & coffee in the lounge available for guests throughout the day. For activities, we highly recommend the husky safari, snowmobile tour and the Sami meet-up - it's hard to pick our favorite as they were all incredible experiences. You can borrow thermal overalls and boots for these activities, as well as skis, sledges and snow shoes.

Yggdrasil taluhotell & spa asub Kvaløya saarel, 50-minutilise autosõidu kaugusel Tromsø kesklinnast. Talus on tasuta WiFi-ühendus. The night in the small wagon was very nice and the "fireplace" has a certain charm. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The small farm with several animals and the possibility to go to the jacuzzi and or sauna is great. You can book rental equipment for a snowshoe hike directly on site. Parking is free of charge. Note that there is no supermarket or restaurant nearby. So you are tied to the accommodation's catering on site. This is very good, but the costs add up!
Nusfjord Arctic Resort

This property offers traditional fishing cottages. Some have sea view (harbore) some have bay view (bay is small amount of water, where boats can not go) and some have village view. The history of the village was mind blowing The cabins interiors were so nice and cosy. You could find everything you needed. The team at the resort were all lovely . Mattej was fabulous and so helpful . We also had the most wonderful massage with Annette. We can’t wait to return and explore some more next year.
