All the stuff from bar tender to chef and all the crew was amazing. Very hospitable people and smiles and assist you all the time. So helpful and very kind. Spa and the woman who work there was amazing and sweet. The food was fantastic . Place is peaceful and safe. The boat driver always smiling and talking to us. They speak english as well. The hotel ... No words can explain. Definitely will come back again. 500% love the place and all the people who works there.

Next door neighbor to a beautiful church, a park, playground and a calm area used as an Ice skating rink in the winter months. Clean common areas, with several cozy sitting groups with big leather chairs and candle light.

This place is lovely! I was a bit afraid of how my family members would feel about a shared toilet but it was really ok and Magasinet turned out to be our favourite sleeping place on our roadtrip. It was also the cheapest! Great location and we liked the atmosphere of the brick house and the island too.

This was my first time in Fredrikstad and my stay was for...

This was my first time in Fredrikstad and my stay was for business travel. The area is friendly, has modern charm, and had plenty of shops and restaurants to explore. I hope to return again and stay longer on a personal schedule with my wife to enjoy more of the area.

The location of the hotel is located in walking distance from many resturants in the middle of thr city. The hotel has reserved parkingspots included in the stay. The room is big and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is exelent and the staff is wonderful. I give it 10 out of10.

It is a great place to visit during the summer, with lots of...

It is a great place to visit during the summer, with lots of people in town and at the restaurants by the pier promenade. The city center is quite compact, so you can walk from the railway station in one end, to the football stadium in the other end, in about 25 minutes. The city is by the ocean, so there are a lot of beaches and places to swim just outside the city proper. The nightlife is quite good too, especially during weekends.
