Fabulous hotel right on the water. We booked a very small bunk room so it was a bit tight with luggage but it was functional. The beds were comfortable and bathroom good plus a kettle was a bonus. We had a nice view across the water. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. Very friendly staff.

The island is beautiful and I like it that is no people around. And the view is beautiful.

Senja has blown our minds! Such a beautiful place. We were the only guests staying there but still the owner (or maybe not the owner but the one who has made us feel so welcome) made sure that everything was taken care of. He cooked the meals himself (delicous!) and showed us the Norwegian way of life. Also he had the best tips for spotting the Nothern Lights and even got out the come find us one evening when the Northern Lights were so clearly visible in all their colours; one night to remember (i'm even getting emtional while writing this, an absolute bucket list moment). The setting of Senja Fjordhotell is absolutely great en idyllic.

Yttersia Base has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Senja. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service.

Yttersia base has a fantastic location, close to amazing mountain treks like Husfjellet right outside the door, close to the charming beach Bøvær. It is a perfect base to explore the most beautiful areas of Senja! Super kind staff who are always available to help out with anything! Cozy restaurant next door with good food. A small grocery shop across the road open 24/7. We particularly enjoyed a good night sleep in the comfy beds with amazing duvet and pillows.

An amazing experience in a wooden cabin surrounded by snow, it truly feels like a fairytale. One of the best places I’ve been so far. Extremely cozy and perfect for hygge. The ceiling height on the second floor is not an issue at all, and the hosts were very attentive, even recommending the best actions to take during storm alerts.

Staying in Leif’s cabin was amazing! It was so cozy, so clean and well prepared that we didn’t want to leave. It was so peaceful and nice inside, Leif even left us fresh bread to eat. All accommodations that you can possibly need are provided. The whole village is great, we had the luck of seeing an otter in the ocean when we took a walk and of course- we saw the northern light right from the window of the cabin! It was absolutely surreal. Just a special place.

Owner of aparmtent live upstairs . Everything was perfect and cheap. 1 big bed in separate room, 1 couch for 2 extra people , 2 toilets, shower ,kitchen. Everything New and comfortable. After 10 days around lofoten it was deserved relax. Owners are very nice, helpful .
