SwedenReally nice studio. Stayed in the upper floor . Facing west side of the sky I watched the Aurora dancing from the sofa of the living room. Excellent breakfast buffet as well. Tried the Hot tub completely value for money although the water temperature was around 35 ( Would be better if it around 40 , not complaining though) .
The property also has lots of parking spaces with Electrical charging . Overall a 10/10 stay.

ChinaThe host is very responsible and enthusiastic. There are all kinds of seasonings and tableware in the kitchen. It's hard to imagine that the decorations during Christmas are so beautiful! It's very convenient to check in and park. The heating inside the house is very comfortable. Lying on the sofa and watching TV is extremely enjoyable! Next time I come here, I will definitely choose this place again because it feels like home！

BulgariaStaying in Leif’s cabin was amazing! It was so cozy, so clean and well prepared that we didn’t want to leave. It was so peaceful and nice inside, Leif even left us fresh bread to eat. All accommodations that you can possibly need are provided. The whole village is great, we had the luck of seeing an otter in the ocean when we took a walk and of course- we saw the northern light right from the window of the cabin! It was absolutely surreal. Just a special place.

Everything !! We were lucky to be in the executive suite nbr 2 which is the best room of the hotel. We had an amazing view on the forest and the sea, and the hot tub all for ourselves as the other suite was not booked.
The suite was huge, well equipped with a coffee machine, plates, cups, and glasses. Tea, coffee, and sugar at disposal. The beds were super comfy and the huge sofa was awesome to wait for the northern lights.
The breakfast was delicious and very varied. I got addicted to their waffles.
The receptionist was exceptional with us. He helped us with the ferry, explained how it worked, even assisted in planning a back-up itinerary in case we didn’t get it.
They also arranged an early breakfast, as we had to leave at 7:30, so they opened the restaurant one hour earlier just for us. We really had an exceptional stay.
We’ve read somewhere that the owners have changed and I can vouch that all the previous bad reviews that were written about that place do not reflect the reality now and the amazing experience we had.
One thing to be aware of: only the executive suites have access to the hot tub, and only the suite nbr 2 has a view on the forest.

Absolutely charming Sjøhytte in very peaceful area. Location was good and what a view. 😍 There was a small harbour for fisher men and nice sandy beach only 500 meters away.
Kitchen was well equipped. Almost all you needed and extrabonus was wood goal grill on the big terrace. Terrace was great, nice furniture got usage while our stay - sun was shining all day (and night) ☀️
Nearest shop was about 7 km away. Location was also good for our purposes - avoiding grouded places. Good loction for longer stay and making day trips around the Island. In the area are no services like bars or cafes etc. After a four night stay even locals Rose their hand passing by.
Sauna on on request on another building.
Bedrooms were ok and linen, pillows and blankets very good.
This cottage was also a good place for remote work. Quiet and good WiFi.
We liked this place a lot! Thanks for very nice Kristin for arrangements and relaxed attitude for sauna missunderstanding. 😂👍

Fabulous hotel right on the water. We booked a very small bunk room so it was a bit tight with luggage but it was functional. The beds were comfortable and bathroom good plus a kettle was a bonus. We had a nice view across the water. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. Very friendly staff.

A nice area to visit and so different from many places in...
A nice area to visit and so different from many places in Norway. The countryside is so different from part to parts on the island of Senja. The same with the local people, more quiet at the inner part/Eastern side of the island. Then more outspoken and louder when to speak to the ones on the Western side of the island.
Great place to visit if you are to lock for the Aurora Borealis, and also close to Tromsoe. Either by a car or just for a day-trip with different boats.

If you are looking for somewhere special to stay with a cozy cabin and good food, to be close to nature and surrounded with lovely people, then you couldn’t choose a better place.

Nice place for a short stay.
Nice place for a short stay. Without a car you run out of options quickly. Smaller hiking trips and ski tours possible in the valley. Northern lights possible when there is no midnight sun. No supermarket in the village.

Torsken is beautifully situated, but the road there is terrible and ends in the village. When visiting other parts of Senja, you have to drive back and forth over the mountain on the poor road. Nevertheless, Torsken is definitely worth a visit, and the quality of the facilities offered by Senja by Heart is high.

The cabin we stayed in was roomy, wonderfully provisioned, and exceptionally clean. The restaurant offers a full-selection breakfast buffet and a full-service dinner that includes a selection of regional fish deliciously prepared. The village is quaint and charming and has several local, short hikes that are walking distance from the hotel. We loved everything about our stay and hope to return someday to see the Northern Lights!

Mefjordvaer is absolutely beautiful, and within short drives (< 1 hour on narrow winding roads) of many other beautiful places. We stayed for two days but if you like the outdoors there would be enough activity options for a week or more.
