Located along the main road, just outside of what I would call the town centre, this motel provides a great place to stay and explore Arthur's Pass. The owner was very friendly and helpful, suggesting the various food places and walking trails in the area. Best of all, the unit is big with a bedroom, living room, kitchen area and toilet. I could certainly have spent many more days there.

A nice immersive experience of NZ farmland life. The location was perfect – close to Arthur Pass. We did have to go to Sheffield or Darfield for dinner, but it wasn't a big hassle. The mountain view was worth it. Llamas were cute.

In one building there were 4 rooms. There were two bathrooms with toilets and a thirth toilet. So you had nearly your own bathroom despite there is a sharing of bathroom and toilet with the guests of the other three rooms. Everything is clean and of high quality. The host Amber is very kind and helpfull in every way..
