Secondly, friendly to “I” type people, as you can help yourself with all the process just follow the information through the email and message. Honestly, I would like to book again if I plan to visit New Plymouth next time. The lounge room, the whole hotel more like an art gallery, you can see a lot of artworks including some Chinese paintings, sculptures. Room is not very big but with everything you needed, it’s tidy and clean, showers are brand new, I believe they maintain the facilities well. We did not get a chance to try the restaurant as we arrive on 24th, Christmas Eve, while all the restaurants are closed on Xmas. But when we passing the bar, it seems very good, maybe we can have a try next time. The location of the hotel is really really really convenient!!! Close to all the places, the KFC, PNS, light show park, art gallery.

We even enjoyed a spectacular sunrise from a viewing platform (just a couple of minutes drive from the property, worth getting up early). The staff is also extremely friendly and welcoming. What a lovely place, very scenic and comfortable. The perfect mountain getaway. We even enjoyed a spectacular sunrise from a viewing platform (just a couple of minutes drive from the property, worth getting up early). The staff is also extremely friendly and welcoming. We attended a concert at the Bowl of Brookland and whilst in...
We attended a concert at the Bowl of Brookland and whilst in the area visited the downtown area. Walked along the waterfront which is really lovely with the Wind Wand, board walks and various sculptures. Stopped at a cafe for lunch.
It was friendly and we enjoyed exploring some of the streets and shops.
Would love to have stayed longer, visited the Len Lye gallery and Pukekura Park

Super Market and small businesses appreciated. Convenience of travelling North and South of Waitara to Taranaki historical sites suited our family. Close to the sea a bonus. Managed a little fishing. Play Park great for children.

It is a natural beach loved by surfers!
It is a natural beach loved by surfers! Take the kickboard, go directly into the sea, and enjoy the fun of surfing. If you are tired, you can rest on the beach. The sunset is beautiful and not to be missed. But there is no lighting after sunset so be careful walking back to where you parked

We visited on a recommendation from friends that the beach camp would be perfect to celebrate our granddaughters 5th birthday and it was!
We enjoyed the beach across the road, with lifeguards. The pool and playground was well utilized with families and the amenities were perfect.
We enjoyed Opunake town visiting the antique shop, cafes and the hotel.

This is a place for a get-away to refresh yourself.
This is a place for a get-away to refresh yourself. The boutique accomodation is comfortable and clean. The restaurant at the hotel is special with amazing food, and a great atmosphere. The wifi didnt reach our room but who cares?! we came for a break 💕 Sunshine and great walks nearby made it a great escape from life.
And bonus (although I didnt use it this time) this place is pet friendly so you can stay with your dog!

A little village right on the coastline. South, West coast of the North Island NZ.
Wild beaches, very friendly people, talked to the local fishermen.
Great place for families to explore or couples for a little romance.

Pukekura Park is worth a visit especially to see the Lights...
Pukekura Park is worth a visit especially to see the Lights Festival but also during the day as well. The Coastal walkway is also a very interesting aspect of the town, but do watch out for the number of bikes that abound! -- on what is supposed to be a "shared" resource. Regrettably FAR TOO MANY cyclists seem to believe that it is for their benefit alone and pay too little attention to adults and children using the walkway as pedestrians. This applies throughout the Walkway, but is particularly bad towards the Rewa Rewa Bridge where many prefer to cycle / race rather than walk!! Something should be done by the appropriate authorities to STRESS that it is a "shared" resource BEFORE there is a nasty accident!!

It was very poor accommodation. Not clean before we got there room was very smelly n musky dirty smell. Lots missing from room. Utensils, TV remote, pots, toaster, iron. We couldn’t book anywhere else all booked out a big festival was on in the area. Emergency housing was in the Lodge they were disgustingly dirty (bogens) Dogs inside their hotel room. Their rooms were disgustingly yuk. Not a good experience I would not recommend anyone to stay there. Very poor. Bad Experience.
