If you are going to Abel Tasman great walk, you can beat the location. The bonus is Stuart, the owner. He Friendly received us at the hotel, gave us precious advise and on top gave us a ride to the start of the trail and Let my motorbike on his propriety meanwhile we did the walk.. If wasn't enough, he made room for us when we came back and had no place for staying. Totally recommend.

An adorable private cottage on a beautiful property. We enjoyed meeting Mark and Sheree and getting a tour of their amazing garden. The cottage is super cute, clean with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It’s the perfect spot to leave from for day hikes on the Abel Tasman. Our favourite spot to stay during our 3 weeks in New Zealand and hope to come back again soon.

Rose welcome was one of the best we had during our journey in NZ, even if we stayed only one night. We would have loved to stay longer, the place if very peaceful and surrounded by nature (loved the cat!), for us was a good point to start our Abel Tasman tour in Kaiteriteri on the next day. THe apartment was bigger than I thought, very cleaned and had all the comforts.

After a few days hiking and camping in Abel Tasman we had the most wonderful stay. Spent the afternoon in the garden soaking up the views with lots of bird life. It was a nice easy walk into Mapua. The apartment is beautifully decorated. Breakfast was delicious and enjoyed this again with the wonderful view. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

Perfect location, awesome room, amazing staff. Beautiful room, great hot tub, personable/helpful/friendly staff/manager. Walking distance to restaurants, Abel Tasman park and Coastal Track. Well stocked and equipped community kitchen and grills were appreciated although we did not have a chance to cook. An absolutely perfect hotel!

We got there the day before starting Abel Tasman coastal track. We had all afternoon to enjoy surroundings (beach, hostel itself). Located at the start of the track, so convenient! The café was closed but hostel not busy at all. Nice place to relax. We stayed in one of the little cabin, enough for two people and quiet. Highly recommended!

The spacious, comfortable apartment was just what we needed after a week tramping in the Abel Tasman Park. The apartment had a spacious balcony which was lovely to sit on in the afternoon. Well situated, across the road from the beach and close to cafes and a convenience store. The big bonus was the washing machine!

Located close to Kaiteriteri beach on the edge of the stunning Abel Tasman Nt. Park. Also, the Mermaid Shack, which is situated just outside and offers a range of delicious smoothies, hot drinks and vegan breakfasts; the buck wheat with fresh fruit, peanut butter and maple syrup pancakes were to die for!

The hostess was exceptionally warm and welcoming , showing me around and giving me all the information I need. She allowed me to leave my car at the property while I went for the Abel Tasman coast track for the next 3 days, I appreciated that! The 4bed dorm was pretty spacious as well.

Convenient location for Abel Tasman, without being on the main road. The chalet was excellently presented with more room than an average motel rom. Bed was comfortable and bathroom area of ample proportions. Host very informative on local amenities and attractions

All areas exceeded my expectations. Th location was superb with easy access to Able Tasman track. The beach was only a short stroll down the road. Christa, the owner, was excellent. Meet and greet, then shown around the property and finally the apartment.

Couldn't recommend this hostel anymore. The views and access to the beach is incredible, Abel Tasman national park is right beside you so you are in the middle of activity heaven. Meg was a legend and the staff were all super friendly and great help.

Kaiteri Motels & Apartments is in a great location & so close to all the activities available in the Abel Tasman National Park. Beach at the end of the street. A number of short walks to neighbouring bays with spectacular views.

This was our favorite hotel during our 11 day tour of New Zealand. We loved the walking paths, the convenience to town and Abel Tasman. The massage and food were excellent.

Superb hotel in the middle of Abel Tasman park. The hotel has all facilities like a normal hotel but then in an very very special location which is not accessible by car.

Perfect spot, if you want to visit the Abel Tasman! Wonderful and fully equipped apartment very close to the entrance, with lovely great hosts

The room and bathroom are quite big and comfortable, the location is ideal when you are coming back from the Abel Tasman National Park.

Excellent family Top 10 great for children but we couldn't fault it and would recommend to everyone

loved this old fashioned lodge. very clean and comfy . great staff and restaurant. Such a wonderful treat after a hard tramping trip.
