This 150-year-old house has been lovingly restored, preserving the authentic Omani culture and architecture while providing a unique hotel experience. He is an outstanding professional who went above and beyond to ensure we had a safe and memorable journey. I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and had a very pleasant experience. The cleanliness and service were excellent, and the staff were very polite, friendly, and helpful. First: The Hotels The hotel is wonderful and one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever visited, whether it's the main hotel, Al Fanar Hotel, Al Fanar Club Hotel, Rotana Hotel, Juweira Hotel, or any of the Hawana Salalah hotels. The hotel's location, swimming pools, beaches, green spaces, activities, and proper organization of this entire resort, of this size, with such precision and professionalism in management and providing the highest standards of quality. Second: The Staff There is no way to describe the professionalism of the staff and workers in all the hotel's facilities and departments. They are extremely kind, always smiling, and cooperative. They can be considered friends in one place. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Sienna, who is a wonderful, professional, and kind person. Abu Bakr is extremely kind and helpful to the guests. Hamada is a very cooperative employee. Every employee, from the administration, reception, support staff, car service, room service, restaurant staff, chefs, assistants, club staff, and spa staff, is professional, kind, and friendly. Third: The Rooms The rooms are professionally designed, comfortable, and have everything one could need in a hotel stay. They are of high quality in terms of soundproofing, lighting, furnishings, cleanliness, service, and comfort. Fourth: Food The variety of restaurants and the professionalism of the food are wonderful in every hotel, whether it's the Souq Restaurant, Zafran, Rotana Club, waves , or any of the other restaurants. They are very distinguished in terms of cleanliness. The quality of the food and the variety of meals were so varied that we never got bored. Although our reservation was all inclusive with 3 meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the variety of food and restaurants made you feel like you were experiencing the place for the first time. I stayed in this hotel and lost some clothes, especially in the town of Sut Jadid. We asked the management of the hotel, who is Egyptian, and they treated us very poorly. This hotel does not have management. We advise the owner of the hotel, and should Dhofar leave their country like these expatriate workers who are tarnishing the reputation of the hotel

the beaches are spectacular, the location is really perfect if you look for a quite and familiar place. Everyone is friendly and helpful. the surrundings are stunning and the trip is aboslutely worth it. There are several resorts in the area but they are very decent and not invasive.

Salalah and especially the surrounding mountains contain a unique environment with magical natural views. But, if you want to see the lush green landscapes and waterfalls, make sure to come in the correct monsoon season known as khareef, which is during the summer months. Once the rains stop, the waterfalls dry up and the lush greenery turns dry and yellow. I came in November, which is a perfect time for nature photography as there is no rain to damage the camera and nature is still very alive, but all waterfalls had already completely dried up and the lush greenery was gone. The region, like the entire country, is very safe, with friendly and helpful people.

Amazing place but better to visit during Khareef season (...

Amazing place but better to visit during Khareef season (July - Mid September). But it is very crowded, and all places and hotels are full and prices skyrocketing during the season. But you will see the green lush meadows, Clouds floating on hills, all the waterfalls running and Wadis full of water lakes. Depends on your preference but it will be crowded everywhere so keep in mind. Other option is to go in December/Jan when it is quiet, calm and very peaceful. You can visit all the beaches, spots and wadis without any crowd and mostly just to yourself. But there is no greenery during this time and clouds and waterfalls are gone. Weather is still good but not much green. It depends on your preferences.
