At the time we stayed at the Souq Beach Hotel, it was brand new. Many items were clearly unused, even unwrapped. The rooms are a nice size with glass all around, allowing for views of the sea, the new Souq area and the palm trees and farming areas. You can park within a jumping distance from the doorway into the hotel, for free also. The cleaning team did a fantastic job daily, cleaning up in the aftermath of three young children and a wife (not me, I'm impeccable obviously).

I loved how convenient the location was! Being able to walk straight from my room to the conference sessions made the whole experience stress-free. It gave me more time to network and less time worrying about logistics. The staff (Omani, Egyptian, and Indian) were extraordinarily friendly and hospitable. I actually missed the university bus one morning, and without hesitation, they offered me a free ride to the conference center just to save me time. They truly care about their guests!

All food was great, including breakfast and every set menu evening meal. Service was friendly. Rasha at reception was also great as were the other reception staff. I also liked the fact that it is adults only and peaceful. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the Dhofar region.

Very attentive and friendly staff, always there when you need something. Special offer for the breakfast, good price and value. Waiters always offered you extra food/drinks. Good location on a quiet beach, direct beach access, rooms where calm and spacious. Dinners where offered at the beach and the wifi worked well. The price you pay per night is totally fine for the hotel. Room service came every day to clean up.

Salalah is an amazing place to visit.

Salalah is an amazing place to visit. We came by drive from Dubai. That itself is an experience. There are lots of places of interest to see. But this time most of the water spots are dry. So please do not listen to the social media influencers. They might be uploading previous years videos to promote their channels.

the beaches are spectacular, the location is really perfect...

the beaches are spectacular, the location is really perfect if you look for a quite and familiar place. Everyone is friendly and helpful. the surrundings are stunning and the trip is aboslutely worth it. There are several resorts in the area but they are very decent and not invasive.

It was a bit of a long drive from the UAE, but it turned out to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Oman is a beautiful country with amazing food, fantastic weather, and incredibly warm hospitality—you'll absolutely love it. During the Khareef season, Oman is offering free visas, making it the perfect time to visit. The welcoming atmosphere everywhere makes the trip even more memorable. I strongly recommend this destination. It's a truly unique experience that everyone should enjoy at least once.

Beautiful nature, if you like ocean, beach, jungle, tropical...

Beautiful nature, if you like ocean, beach, jungle, tropical, green mountains and oasis's etc. its all there, recommend to plan for at least 2 weeks to bee at all the nice places during late July and August, weather is nice every day between 25 to 29 degrees in Salalah however if you go up to the mountains its drops to less than 22, it is a place you must visit.
