I have a bad experience during check-in as follows. The hotel provided me with a standard room, then after I asked the reception staff, my booking is a deluxe room, not Stansted, The staff try to convince with bad attitude me to take the stander, cose my reservation different deluxe. I opened my booking, which is clear the type of room, and photo of the room at booking App, Then, in difficulty, she agreed to change the room as per my booking.

Since we are Road tripping in Omán, the location was for us great. Close to the highway, there is a Supermarket just a few steps away, there is a food stand that sells super tasty camel meat between others. The room was huge, spacious and super clean. The breakfast was à la carte, super tasty. The swimming pool great. The staff, from the reception, waiter and cleaning, really kind and they made us feel special. A big thank you to all of them. Can only recommend this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and had a very pleasant experience. The cleanliness and service were excellent, and the staff were very polite, friendly, and helpful. We had a marvellous stay at Souly Lodge and can’t wait for our next visit already! - The room: it was large with plenty of storage and the bed was very comfy. It had a rustic feel and we loved the outdoor shower. An efficient working air con system, which is welcomed in the hotter months. - Customer service: All the staff were so friendly, helpful and hardworking. Our room was cleaned everyday with towels and any soaps being replaced, as well as a bottle of water. The restaurant staff always served us with a smile and went the extra mile. - Restaurant: We loved the food on the main menu, particularly the seafood, which the chefs cooked perfect every time. The food was great value and the coffees/drinks options were plentiful - note there is no alcohol, but you can bring your own to have on your terrace. We enjoyed the morning breakfasts, with the omelettes and french toast being the highlights. - Beach: Absolutely stunning. The water was crystal clear, there were enough loungers and shaded areas for all the guests, and with plenty of privacy. It was a very peaceful beach and if you’re looking for a relaxing holiday, this is the best place to be. - Extra amenities: There was a pool table and table tennis, which we enjoyed using when we wanted to escape the sun. The lodge also hosted some Arabian nights that included a buffet, musicians, tea and dancing. Please note that for leaving a tip for all the staff, they only take cash. We absolutely loved our stay and it’s the most relaxed we’ve felt after leaving a holiday destination. Definitely recommend to all!

The Hilton hotel is very well located, only 15mn from the airport. It is extremely clean, has a beautuful swimming pool with a water slide and a long beach. It is not crowded at all and we enjoyed playing in the waves. The hotel room was impeccable, very quiet and the layout was perfect. My son and I had our own bed and we felt very confortable. The room and bathroom were extremely clean. One day we forgot to remove the " do not disturb" sign on the door , but later in the afternoon the cleaning service took the care to do our room without even asking. I thought this was high quality service. The staff is very attentive, smiley and friendly, always happy to help or assist. The buffet is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the quality of food is good with some variety. There is another restaurant à la carte on the opposite side but we did not try it as the buffet offered all we needed. The restaurant terrace is right on the pool which is really pleasant. The only downside are the big black birds which come very close to the tables and can be a bit annoying but the staff is very careful and pays attention to it. It shows the natural part of Oman ! I highly recommend this hotel for a short stay and will definitely go back there next time.

We had an executive suite with 2 rooms so the room was decent size with nice and comfy beds. Staff was friendly and the hotel was decently cleaned. the beaches are spectacular, the location is really perfect...

the beaches are spectacular, the location is really perfect if you look for a quite and familiar place. Everyone is friendly and helpful. the surrundings are stunning and the trip is aboslutely worth it. There are several resorts in the area but they are very decent and not invasive.

Salalah and especially the surrounding mountains contain a unique environment with magical natural views. But, if you want to see the lush green landscapes and waterfalls, make sure to come in the correct monsoon season known as khareef, which is during the summer months. Once the rains stop, the waterfalls dry up and the lush greenery turns dry and yellow. I came in November, which is a perfect time for nature photography as there is no rain to damage the camera and nature is still very alive, but all waterfalls had already completely dried up and the lush greenery was gone. The region, like the entire country, is very safe, with friendly and helpful people.

Amazing place but better to visit during Khareef season (...

Amazing place but better to visit during Khareef season (July - Mid September). But it is very crowded, and all places and hotels are full and prices skyrocketing during the season. But you will see the green lush meadows, Clouds floating on hills, all the waterfalls running and Wadis full of water lakes. Depends on your preference but it will be crowded everywhere so keep in mind. Other option is to go in December/Jan when it is quiet, calm and very peaceful. You can visit all the beaches, spots and wadis without any crowd and mostly just to yourself. But there is no greenery during this time and clouds and waterfalls are gone. Weather is still good but not much green. It depends on your preferences.
