The maitre/owner is a lady called Margot and she is very kind and cooperative.
All other staff are ok also.
The room was nice with a beautiful seaview.
Dinner was very good and not too expensive.
They have mtb for their guests, free of charge and I took one of them to explore the island, Avatoru that is 10km long.
This small resort is a bit more than a kilometer from the small airport terminal so if you have only cabin baggage you could reach it on foot.
Overall the feeling is very good.
I believe that this small resort is a little slice of Paradise.

Lucille, her family and Miri were the best part. I was in room number 4. Great patio area by the back garden. The location is very close to the airport. The main picture is about two minutes away and during all my walks over there was no one. Which was great. The room is well equipped with a mini fridge, kettle, microwave, closet, towels. If I ever come back I will stay here just because of the hospitality of Lucille. She has the most adorable little girl.
Maitai Rangiroa is located between the villages of Avatoru and Tiputa, on one of the largest lagoons in the Southern Hemisphere.

Three-course dinners served every other day
were best to me on the island. On islands it is not easy to find restaurants that function regulary and properly. You go when they are supposed to be open, but find closed. Quite a random and bizarre. Cold beer is available any time at the pension in reasonable prices. Hospitality is great.

Gorgeous property, very kind hostess who let us take the bikes for a spin until the room was ready when we arrived early from our flight. Loved that they provided kayaks, bikes and also things like mosquito spray was super sweet. Great location on the lagoon.

Kinakamo Lodge et Activités Rangiroa is a recently renovated holiday home in Tiputa, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities.
Sophie (owner of the lodge who also runs it) was very helpful and an amazing host, nothing was a hassle for her. She organised for us last minute an amazing tour, which everyone else seemed to say no to. It was the best tour we’ve been on in a long time! Dinner is on a long table which makes it a nice family style.
There are bikes for guests to use and paddle/kayaks all complimentary which was very nice. The beach in front of the lodge is small and we had it all to ourselves (everyone was out on excursions) which made it feel like we were in our own private little area.
Thank you for the experience you have created for us!

Fantastic resort with water, beach and garden bungalows. Great bar for sunset, overflow swimming pool and open restaurant. I stayed in a beach bungalow offering breathtaking views on the turquoise lagoon. It was a large beach bungalow including airco, jacuzzi, hamac and sleeping chairs. The staff is very nice and helpful. The property includes a dive center and offered several excursions.

There isn't much to do but Dive and relax.
There isn't much to do but Dive and relax. The diving is amazing in the Tiputo Pass. We used The 6 Passengers and Top Dive and while the experiences were quite different, we enjoyed both. Top Dive is a small, quaint shop that we could walk to from Kia Ora and The 6 Passengers was a large operation with fantastic deck and nice facilities. They offer lunch between dives if you want to order. We booked 6 Dives in 2 days and expected different dives. What they don't tell you is that they go to the same dive site every time, but depending on the currents, it feels like completely different dives and didn't mind it. From lazy reef diving in the morning with eagle rays, sharks and lots of fish. to Super fast, slightly technical drift diving and swimming with Dolphins, Mantas and Napoleon Wrasse in the afternoons. We had too many underwater magical moments to list them all. If you are planning multiple days and expect different dive locations, you may want to research before committing so you aren't disappointed, but we didn't mind. Every dive seemed different.

We loved the warmth and authenticity of Tiputa!
We loved the warmth and authenticity of Tiputa! The pizza shop is a wonderful option for a yummy meal. At the handicrafts center, we found a beautiful pair of earrings and had a wonderful interaction with the jewelry maker.
