We come to Bohol island in third week of our trip. When we choose Selectum Mangrove Rresort do not think a lot about our choise, but the place and owners exceeded our expectations. So why now we will talk just about good things, because we do not have to say nothing bad. - Cleanliness. We think that the owner is simply crazy about it. Considering the whole trip in the Philippines, this is the cleanest hoter/apartament we have been. Cleanliness not only in the room, but also in the entire area. - The staff. Owners Sorina and Michel are europeans creating a business in the Philippines. So the place and aura reminds us home, which was very nice to feel in the middle of the trip. The staff is very friendly and polite, the girls are always smiling and ready to help. - Food. The food is prepared either by the owners or by the girls. The kitchen is European. We ate schnitzel a few times and it was perfect after all the Filipino food. :) Also they recommend really nice filipino food place - Jose restaurant. Thant place changed our opinion about Filipine cuisine in the good way. - - Helpfulness. You will get everything you need at the resort. They can call you a tuk tuk, rent you a scooter, order ferry tickets, a car for transfer, wash your clothes, cook for you. All you have to do is just ask. In any case, the main thanks go to Sorina and Michel, for that time they spent with us, for evenings and conversations, for company while sailing Kayaks, for company when traveling to monkeys and waterfalls (Sorina remember that 300 steps?:), to Michel for the opportunity to meet Arnis master and have a 4-hour workshop with locals. In conclusion, it was realy nice week in Panglao, will come back next year with friends. Hope to see you all again.(Sorina and Michel maybe sooner somewhere in Europe.:)

Very nice brandnew hotel. The quality of the bedding including pillows is awesome. Very nice and helpful staff. Property tucked away in a quiet place and yet very close to the airport. Hotel tastefully designed and arranged. We do recommend staying there. Actually we will be back soon.

We love the infinity pool snd kids pool as well. The breakfast was sumptuous and the staff were amazing and friendly.

Brilliant location in Panglao, you need a moped to get around and the hotel offers great ones for a good price. Right next to airport which is a novelty seeing planes come in and land. About 5 min moped drive to the main area - LOADS of good restaurants nearby - recommend Lekker Garden. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Room was a good size and clean. Pool area was brilliant (ideal for the heat) - you could spend a day just relaxing around there. The whole hotel is landscaped beautifully - would 100% stay again.

En lugn oas med härlig pool och bara 6 dubbelrum. Hotellet var så fräscht och var en bra utgångspunkt för utflykter runt om på Bohol. Manergern och personalen var mycket tillmötesgående och hjälpte till med att ordna t.ex chaufför, picknick och tvätt.

Very nice and quiet place, perfect hotel to escape all the noise and relax. Breakfast was nice, hotel restaurant serves delicious food. WiFi works well; gym has a beautiful view and has enough equipment to get a workout in; spa was great and very good pricing; game room is also located in a nice place - beautiful views while playing some games. All the area is looked after and very green. Cave was a nice experience. Tennis court is well looked after. We loved our stay and wish we stayed a bit longer.

It feels like a home away from home. The place is so serene you can only hear the crickets at night and the roosters in the morning. They have two big infinity pools and the food are so great. We will definitely coming back soon.

One of the best hotels we ve been in our lives. A perfect start for us... We started our 3 week holiday in Bohol. Their lobby area view... It talks "welcome to Philipinnes" I said to myself. A dream came true. Everything met our expectations and beyond.. exceeded our expectations i would say... The beach, the food, the message, the spa, the location... Worth every money spent here. Free kayaks. Perfect for a morning jog... Happy hour till 7pm. Very good portion of meals ( being Maltese we like to eat a lot). Special thanks goes to butler Paul for his patience, dedication and hospitality skills. We will return in the future for sure.

Beautiful location, very nice facilities, and the best of all, wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. We kindly asked the restaurant to chill my bf’s meds which came with ice packs that needed to be frozen. We forgot to retrieve this when we checked out and realized this only after we have gone through security at the airport. I called the hotel and they retrieved this life-saving kit for us and dropped it at the airport. I am very grateful to them. This along the attention provided to us during our stay made our first trip to Bohol very memorable. Many thanks to the hardworking men and women at the Bohol Beach Club.

Nice room, super clean, calm. Kind and helpfull staff. The bathroom wat alright (no hot water). Super long swimming pools x2. A pitty that the Jacuzz didn't work when we went. Great and cheap massages available. 15 minutes walk to the beach and center of Panglao. Free shuttle to the airport (10 minutes from there by car!).
