Beautiful and clean apartment in a nice location with short walk into town and short drive to Szczawnica. Owner was extremely welcoming and offered his assistance wherever possible.
Washer and small kitchenette upstairs. Our kid loved the Foosball table.
Owner offered their trampoline and playground in the backyard for the kids.
Owner even offered his tools and helped with a small car repair.
Overall a great place with amazing and very kind host. Would highly recommend.

Cottages are situated on the hillside and have an awesome view on the mountains. Rooms have all the nessacities like airco and a kitchenette, ours came with a terrace as well. Perfect spot to relax and still have all activities reasonably close. Top experience for a fair price

Lovely place, in the centre of Szczawnica. Very clean, nice room with nice bathroom. Breakfast was very good. There is restaurant and cafe on the site. The good was very good. The hotel is only short walk from skilift to Palenica and the river. We had great time.

Szczawnica is a one-street village.
Szczawnica is a one-street village. It's a good place to start from for rafting the Dunajec and local walking and other explorations. We ate a an excellent restaurant, but it was empty at prime time in the middle of the high season.

Krościenko nad Dunajcem is a beautiful town and an excellent base for exploring the Pieniny Mountains. The nearby peaks of Trzy Korony and Sokolica offer breathtaking views and unforgettable hiking experiences. Szczawnica is also worth visiting for its charming promenade, mineral springs, and scenic walking trails. One of the highlights of the region is the traditional Dunajec River rafting trip, which provides stunning views of the Pieniny Gorge. A perfect destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.

The location is absolutely ideal, situated close to the lake and surrounded by beautiful bicycle trails, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. Additionally, there are plenty of attractions for children in the area, all within a convenient 15-30 minute drive. Whether you're looking to explore nature or enjoy some family-friendly activities, this location has it all.

A great base for wonderful hiking opportunities and river (Dunajec) activities, as well as relaxation. The nearby pedestrian bridge to the Slovakian side of the rivers also offers excursion options, especially to the "red monastery". Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, our stay at this property turned out to be...
Unfortunately, our stay at this property turned out to be very disappointing. Mice appeared in one of the cottages we rented. This was not a one-off incident – the presence of mice made it impossible for us to sleep peacefully or use the cottage normally. As a result, we were forced to cut our stay short and look for alternative accommodation to avoid ruining our entire holiday.
Importantly, after we reported the issue, the owner spoke with us and promised to refund the money for the unused part of our stay. He told us he would return the due amount on Monday, which gave us the confidence to leave the property and find somewhere else, rather than spend the rest of our holiday in conditions where normal relaxation was out of the question.
Regrettably, the owner is now going back on his previous agreement and washing his hands of the whole situation. We consider this behavior to be deeply dishonest, especially since we left the property trusting his assurance that we would be refunded.
While the presence of mice alone was a major issue for us, the owner's lack of responsibility and failure to keep his word was an even greater disappointment.
We do not recommend this property and strongly expect the owner to honor his earlier promise regarding the refund.

Szczawnica is a very nice town sorrounden by the mountains,...
Szczawnica is a very nice town sorrounden by the mountains, away from the main tourism of the Tatra mountains. The city has also some good places where to have dinner and has done some good job for hikers or pepole that want to have short walks close to the river.

A lovely quiet town on the river Dunajec.
A lovely quiet town on the river Dunajec. Close to good walking trails. Plenty of attractions for any kind of tourist and good dining options. Supermarkets a little far from town, not walking distance and if you do walk there, the footpath is dug up most of the way. Most are closed on Sunday.

Kluszkowce itself, beside of mountain Wdżar and lake Czorsztyńskie does not have too much to offer. However nearby cities like: Czorsztyn, Niedzica, Dębno offers few other things like old castles, wooden churches. Biking around the region is highly recommended due to very good cycling infrastructure.

A traditional mountain hostel at the foot of mountain Try Korony, above Dunajec river. We had a simple but comfortable room on the 4th floor with an amazing view (on river + Tatra mountains). It is a starting point for hiking. The best point for river rafting on Dunajec is a 10 minute walk, too. It is best to raft down and then rent bicycles for coming back along the river. They serve good, hearty food (until 8 pm).
