I loved my stay at Artcore Hotel. It's very new and the facilities are fantastic — the rooms are very big, they have balconies, and I love how they're decorated with artistic and creative flair. I noticed that the bedding and the slippers were made in Portugal which was great. The spa facilities were also nice. I was a fan of the breakfast service, where they deliver breakfast to your door if you request it with a sign on your handle. The breakfast selection was vast and the acai bowl was a favorite. I also ordered dry cleaning for my pants and it arrived back to me, clean and dried, within hours!

We stayed for three days. I came with my wife and child. I can say that the accommodations, guest relations, room cleaning, parking, and breakfast services were top-notch. Guest relations is always helpful. Those in the breakfast section made sure we had a great time at breakfast. The location is close to the center and everything else. This property was small but rooms are very spacious. We were pleasantly surprised when our room was upgraded because we were celebrating a birthday. Our room was very spacious, modern and clean. It is good value for money for sure. Very attentive employees, they made our stay very very special. They made sure we had everything we needed. And the everyday housekeeping was a bonus. The sunsets from our balcony was soo beautiful. And we slept amazing on these huge beds. For us girlies, it made us happy that the mirrors were big too.

It was definitely a five star experience from the welcome desk and personal orientation to our room to the tranquil spa and everything in between. The staff really made us feel comfortable. The location was easy walking distance to Porto and waterfront shopping and restaurants. And the view from our room was spectacular overlooking the river. We would love to stay again!

Porto is a great walking city if you don't mind a few hills...

Porto is a great walking city if you don't mind a few hills here and there and be mindful of the slippery cobbled streets. Good public transport and lots of possibilities for trips out for the day, if the city centre gets too busy and hot. Lots of fantastic food options everywhere and a trip to some of the winerys will not disappoint, especially if you enjoy lunch there too. A long stroll along the Douro river and you can explore the fishing villages and vibrant culture of this beautiful part of Portugal. For those who enjoy listening to Fado , there are a number of Fado houses and it is wonderful that this unique form of music remains part of the beating heart of the city.

A beautiful property for a holiday stay. There are plenty of scenic walking routes, beautiful beaches, and stunning coastal views along the shoreline. The area offers many restaurants and bars, making it a great place to relax in the evenings. The staff were friendly, and the prices were reasonable.

Subway is in basement of OPO Airport & OPO is a Beautiful Airport. Beware that Airport Taxis are expensive (paid 40 Euros to the Center of Porto, whereas the subway would have been much cheaper). We spent only 1 night here, because our flight departed early, but our Porto stay was wonderful! We stayed in the city directly, too. Porto is worth visiting! I would go again!

It's a failing port town.

It's a failing port town. It's seen better days, lots of abandoned buildings, nothing much to see. The people were nice, there's a nice park, but it just feels like youre stuck in the outskirts.

I was passing through on the Camino, so didn't spend much time looking around, but there's a fair bit to explore - the museum and galleon, the fort, the convent turned hotel and, I suspect a few more bars and restaurants.

I visited this beach for four days over Easter and had a wonderful experience. The beach was cleaned every morning and felt lively throughout the day without ever being overcrowded. There’s a great selection of traditional restaurants and cafés along the beachfront, making it an ideal spot to spend the day with family. A well‑managed promenade runs from one end to the other, perfect for a relaxing walk. Parking was also easy, which made getting around completely stress‑free

I had returned from a holiday in the UK and needed to stay near the airport as it was a night time arrival. The suites are just a 5 minute walk from the airport, and also very close to a metro station for getting into Porto. I stayed in a different apartment the night before my trip, however, I wish I had known about these suites as I would also have stayed here the night before my outward journey. Conveniently located is an excellent, traditional Portuguese restaurant just along the street. Big portions, friendly staff - some speak English - and very inexpensive. The rooms are more than what you need, and the shared kitchen area with complementary breakfast are an added bonus. It is also possible to cook in the kitchen as there is a cooker and fridge. A great place to stay.

We loved the place in Vila Cha.

We loved the place in Vila Cha. Once we were upstairs in the attic apartement, we had a view over the roofs to the atlantic ocean. Everything was available for cooking, washing and cleaning. All the rooms were as described, except for the bedrooms. Beds were the same and clean, but they both had a slanted ceiling that only a 5'2" person could stand along the highest point. If you just use the bedrooms for sleeping it is fine. The other problem was getting upstairs, not for myself but for my husband who is mobility impaired, had quite some truoble getting up and down. When renting this place you have be able to walk 2 sets of steep 13-15 steps with your suitcases. Just so you know! The town had small mini markets where you could get daily food and supplies and we also had a great butcher and a cafe around the corner. Everybody, including the owner and neighbors were very friendly and helpful! We didn't go to the Outlet. Not something we cared about seeing when going to a beautiful fishertown in Portugal The Camino went through the town so we enviously watched the pilgrims walking by:)
