This place is an absolute gem! You can feel the love that has gone into every aspect of it - the hotel, the restaurant, the bar, the shop. The staff are all absolutely delightful. The village is peaceful and picturesque. There are several walks in the national park which start nearby. Magic!

I stayed for one night with a friend and had an amazing experience. The hotel is very well located, and the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with a bed that made it easy to relax. The view was absolutely breathtaking, truly unforgettable. We also enjoyed the pool and the breakfast, which, although simple, offered a good variety of options. One of the highlights was that the beach by the lagoon is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel, which made it even more convenient. Everything about our stay was perfect, and I genuinely couldn't recommend a better place to stay in Gerês.

It was clean and felt bigger than on the pictures. Even though a bit far from the accommodation, the pool was great. The hotel parking is an extra but a good deal.

Everything was great. Amazing location at the center of the town with a great view over the town. Super nice staff. The room was very comfortable and the common areas as well. We loved our stay.

This very beautiful hotel that doesnt rate any stars is located in a beautiful and quiet hilly landscape and offers peace and quietness while up to the best standarts. The lake close by was superb. The room was spacy and very well designed, great bathroom and great AC (we had 38°C outside). The restaurant is just EXCELLENT and the prices are very attractive. Breakfast buffet was simple but offered everything in good quality. We can only recommend this place🫠

Lovely staff, clean room, perfect location and great amenities. My daughter had her birthday while we were there and the staff went out of their way to make her feel special.

Arrived super early but room was ready so let me check in. Off road parking within the grounds for motorbike and able to park at rear out of sight although it’s a quiet place, beautiful views, good breakfast and room was very spacious clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful. Nearest super market was around 11km away. Petrol station just up the road and there’s a restaurant around 1.5k or so up the road that does lunch and evening meals.

Antonio, the owner is a real sweetheart! Great, peaceful location with stunning view. Most beautiful hiking trails near by, nice room and pool, and good food.

The architectural harmony between the historic monastery and modern design was masterful, particularly the delicate lighting and fixtures. The peaceful atmosphere and the high-quality meals also made this a truly significant and memorable stay.
