Boasting an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant, Chalets de Palma is set in La Digue. With a garden, the hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Every room comes with a balcony. The stay was exceptionally beautiful. Upon arrival, we received a welcome drink and a small ice towel that was particularly pleasant in the heat. Our apartment was newly built with a luxurious interior. The breakfast was amazing and rich. The pool had pleasing cold water compared to the very warm water in the sea. The apartments were in a forest and this protected us from heat air. The staff was very pleasant. Overall, the quality of accommodation, surroundings and services was excellent and highly above the price.

Despite the partially negative comments we always got a very friendly and quick response to all our concerns which have also been acted upon! La Digue looks like a piece of land falling from heaven. It changes one's mood immediately- calm, fabulous ambiance, stunning beaches, friendly people; it keeps you busy every second;manor jelling, biking, beach exploration, tours around the island and island hopping. Just amazing!
La Digue is a wonderful island. One can walk or bike everywhere---no matter where you look, the view is stunning. Met many friendly people: The coffee shop at the ferry dock became a favorite stop. We enjoyed our conversations with Philip, the proprietor of the shop. He was friendly and full of information. Great coffee and fruit juices. His sister also makes some very good banana and breadfruit chips!
La Digue is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday with lots of beaches to choose from. Cycling is a must, biking is the most common way to explore the island.
La Digue, pound for pound is the jewel of the Seychelles. Guidebooks tell you that only a few days are warranted. Not so. We spent four days, hiked everywhere, and would have gladly stayed four more. Restaurants are limited but if you are a self-caterer you will be happier as the expense of prepared food in the Seychelles is quite high. We chose not to rent bikes and in their absence developed remarkable photos that would have otherwise never have been taken had we been mounted and "speeding" o by. The beaches are extraordinary, in some cases captivating beyond imagination.
Not a good place if you like sea swimming. Inside the reefs the depth was low. La Digue has become commercial and some reviews may describe it as peaceful with Ox Carts or cycles for transportation. There are no ox carts and many large taxis and vans which roar up and own the limited roads so don't expect a peaceful quiet island. Also a degree of hassle by the locals touting for business - hiring of bicyles. A cycle is good for a day to see the island.
Its a wonderful place to stay for your honeymoon or just relaxing on a beach. You will enjoy bicycle rides all over the island. Islanders on La Digue are more open and friendly than other island on Seychelles (except super expensive resorts). And beaches... awesome beaches... Try Grand Anse, Petite Anse or Coco Anse.
Beautiful place to relax and for honeymoon. Much different than Mahé. We had 4 days in La Digue, which was probably sufficient minimum. You can have a bit more time also... We had a bike ride around the island on bikes, which was just amazing! We loved watching sunset from the place next to jetty.
The Island is very beautiful and special to the heart. Grand anse beach, petite anse beach and especially anse coco is a must if you’re on La Digue!! We ate at the pizzeria at Grégoire which if found next the the STC supermarket and it was amazing! Do try the seafood pizza and the spaghetti seafood! Super delicious
La Digue itself - fabulous!! However, the ferry to get there is very expensive, but they know you will pay because there is no other choice. I would highly advise a minimum stay of 4 days to make it worth the cost & time to get there.
Paradise. The beach near Relax Lounge is very peacefull and nice. Patatran Hotel restaurant, Fish trap and Italian reastaurant are the best places to eat. La Digue is too small to get lost anywhere. Tortoise park is one of the funniest activities for the kids.
Everything! The restaurant has great food with super professional service (We had there both breakfast and dinner)! The pool is just amazing with a bar nearby. The room was spacious with ocean view porch, Nespresso machine, big shower. The whole place is beautifully designed and all the small details are well thought of. And the most important the team lead by Stuart and Natasha helped us in anything we needed, from renting a tandem bikes (The normal ones are free) to finding an apartment for long stay in La Digue.
La Digue
Beautiful and huge Villa, nice location. You feel there like a king. The highlight of our stay was having Barbara caring about us. Not only she could organize anything we wanted: hiking, snorkeling boat trip, ride to Belle Vue Restoran on top of the mountain, she also cooked amazing dinners for us - every day different, and always delicious! Better (and far less expensive) than in any restaurants we tried on Seychelles (we were on Mahe, Praslin, La Digue).
La Réunion
Absolutely incredible property! We loved the apartment and it felt like a home away from home. Every little detail was thought out, the design is beautiful and practical and we absolutely recommend everyone going to La Digue to book it! The property has five villas with a pool in the middle, and a beautiful garden filled with beautiful art pieces and flowers. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming. We just fell in love with this place!
La Digue
La Digue is beautiful!!! The apartment is OK. The hosts were very nice. The breakfasts - realy good, a lot of local fruits. The breakfasts were served when we wanted, it depended on the moment we woke up. They were served on the terrace of our apartment.
La Digue
Simple apartments on La Digue islands located 15 minutes walk from the jetty. Very good breakfast every day with varying options every day.
Beach challet is wonderful. very new and in front of beach. Breakfast is excellent. Staff are excellent. Dinner I believe is the best of La Digue. In valentine’s day they served Lobster for starter (awesome). It is the perfect place for vacation. I will be definetely back.
The team of the hotel is absolutely fabulous and very service oriented. They go out of their way to make their guests happy. The location is great, just at the doorstep of l’union estate, around the corner of the Anse Source d’Argent.
Superb hospitality and delicious food offered
Excellent stay almost in the nature. Quiet place. It was good in the evenings to dip into the pool after a long day :-) They provide beach towels. You can rent bicycle at the property for the decent price. Free Wi-Fi.
Amazing hotel in a very nice location in the island. We specially liked the pool and the restaurants. Room was very nice as well specially the outdoor shower. Staff was also very friendly and helpful.
Staff is very Kind and helpful
Great staff Clean Big bathroom Quiet area
Close to town, very peaceful,I will come back again. Babi took time to drive us around the Island which was very nice of him then drove us himself to the jetty to pick our ferry to Ladigue. Very nice man and so is his wife. I give Kot Babi a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Stars
Stef was so kind and she let me check out later than expected. She was great host. I recommend her highly!
Very clean, good position, personnel very kind and helpful
Well balanced quality and price . All clean. Wifi speed was good. Bike rental is possible. Nearby supermarket. Friendly stuff, as we extended our stay there was need to change the room, all arranged smoothly without waiting for check in time.
The villa is a masterpiece of woodwork, combining top infrastructure that meets highest european standards (the kitchen is awesome!) with local construction elements. The first floor is entirely made of wood and I liked best the opening to the outside with the extended roof - it's always open but always stays dry. I enjoyed sitting on the sofa there and reading while it rained outside (on the photos there is garden furniture, they replaced it with 2 sofas). In front of the house there is a beautiful garden with giant turtles that live there and trees where you can pick fresh fruit. The house is in a very quiet, green and natural area of the island. With the bicycles we rented from our landlord/lady (new and in perfect condition), we could easily do our daily trips to all parts of the island. The landlord/lady were always very helpful, helped us organize trips and helped out where they could. We even found the dishes washed up and the house cleaned 2 times when we got back home - I've never had that in a rented house. It was by far the best holiday accomodation I've ever had!
All was great! The location, the host, the room, the breakfast.. all fantastic! The room was modern and had a big TV, remote controlled ceiling light with a fan (you can switch warm/cold light) and an AC. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was spacious with 2 sinks. The location was perfect, close to the jetty and all the shops. Everything else reachable with a bike, that you can rent directly from Denise (the host) and park right in front of your door :) VERY convenient! This was the best of all the places where we stayed during our trip to Seychelles.
