We had the family room. Lovely big room with a fire place. 2 bedrooms with in each room 2 beds that were really big (I think 120cm per bed). We put the beds together since we were with 2 couples so that was no issue for us. Lovely view over the lake. Fully equipped kitchen as well. Also a dining and a living room.

What a delight. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here. The breakfast was fantastic. Also the location is really nice a little above Are with a good view. Also a very nice day hike starts and finish at the hotel. The staff was very friendly to us and to our dog. We had a nice dinner in the restaurant aswell. Quality food! The sauna was very nice after a long day hike. We really needed a few days like this to recover in our travel. It was great!

Excellent experience at Holiday Club Åre. Perfect location. Excellent place for walks, fishing and other activities during the summer (located next to the lake, Åreskutan cable car, 20 away from the biggest waterfall Tännforsen and 10min from Ristafallet etc.). Hotel was very nice, room spacious, clean and will all appliances needed. Also a nice view from the room. Breakfast was great, a lot of different options. Very valuable, that in the hotel there are other activities as well, e.g., bowling, billiard, mini golf etc. Great destination.

The hotel is in a fabulous position overlooking the countryside in Storlien. We were made very welcome and enjoyed our stay. The copper bar is especially nice, having had a recent refurbishment , like many other parts of the hotel.The hotel's history is very evident .

Vålådalens Fjällstation is located 100 metres from the ski lifts to Vålådalen Ski Area and 50 metres to cross country tracks.

Staff is very supportive and very nice. Facility was clean. We liked the swimming pool and sauna.

Wonderful location, big cosy rooms like home-away-from-home. Exceptionally good price/value-rate. Common room in basement is a life saver (because of weather!) while waiting the check-in. We recommend this place esp. for longer stay in Åre.
