This was a perfect place to stay. Our hosts were kind, caring and helpful. Thechotel has been totally renovated and is spotlessly clean. There is a nice terrace with a view over the sea and a bar open from 1500 to 2000 for the residents. The fish soup on our last evening was delicious.

We stayed in one of the small houses/studio by the sea with own jacuzzi. It was magnificent!! We loved our own sauna space that during summer is turned into a relaxing room with an outstanding sea view! Everything was amazing but that which touched us the most was the professionalism of the staff and of the people in charge. Specific needs/situations were met and resolved with the highest professionalism as I had yet not met before ( and I do travel a lot both in Sweden and abroad). Thank you so much to all staff and to this amazing place that made my daughter’s 21th birthday an unforgettable one ♥️ And as a touch of pure grace, we had the amazing experience to see and touch the bioluminescence of “ Mareld” that were present by the shore so close to our studio! Better we could not ask for! Will definitely come back…and not only once!

Everything. The Wow Factor, the spa, the attention to details, quietness, beauty, the gym, eating options with both bar lounge and fancy restaurant, the quality of the food offering. The Location. We came for the global series in Stockholm, and booking the Vann Hotel brought us off road which was amazing, brought us to discover beautiful fall landscapes in both Sweden and Norway.

The room was comfortable for the family and according to description of the offer. There were no queues to the toilets and showers. They were clean and spacious. The breakfast was very good with food choices for everyone. There is a beautiful view from the restaurant on the town and water ways. There are sea bathing places very close to the Sea Lodge.

Very nice city.

Very nice city. There is a big shopping center at Torp - with a big range of shops which have a rare range of products. There are a very nice landscapes and forests with a good possibility for resting.

Highly recommend the coast walk Västerhavspromenaden - so beautiful! Also recommend to take ferry to Skaftö and get off at Fiskebäckskil and go for a walk between the beautiful well kept houses and gardens and have lunch or dinner at Brygghuset before taking the ferry back to Lysekil

Smögen is very charming and beautiful town with walking paths in the harbour as well as paths on the rocks with beautiful views on the sea, islands and the town. There are some restaurants serving sea food.

Grebbestad is a beautiful little town right on the water, with a small harbor that is relatively peaceful and quiet. There is immediate access to kayaking, hiking, and many good restaurants serving outstanding sea food. There is also easy access to several food stores, including a fish and delikatessen store. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have loved to stay longer! We hope to be back soon!

The place breathes peace, not so crowded.

The place breathes peace, not so crowded. It is a beautiful place, with the wonderful view towards the sea. It is so near to everything; the beach, the bakery, the kiosk, the food-store. The pizza in the restaurant is excellent, so tasty! The village is big enough for strolling around. It feels not only as a tourist place, but also an all-year -round place. People says hello to each other everywhere, makes a heartwarm feeling. There is a wonderful , wild path along the sea side.

The kommune fined me for parking, even if I paid for parking...

The kommune fined me for parking, even if I paid for parking. I wrote a separate complaint to the kommun. The hotel will follow up on that. The employee of the kommun did not bother to check on the referece with my card payment where the car registration was listed. Very bad.

You can walk around Lysekil. No need to use your car.

You can walk around Lysekil. No need to use your car. Small passengers ferry (till Skate) going to small fishing village (Kristineberg). You can also drive on Route 161 and cross over with a car ferry (Finnsbo-Skår Färjeläge). Nice restaurant: Public (excellent choice of food) Luna Vineyard (excellent wine and tapas)
