Wow! We highly recommend Laponia Sky Hut. We had a wonderful, cozy and relaxing time. We were welcomed and greeted by the owners (Denise and Stephan). Hospitality definitely 5+ stars!! We were served a full (buffet style) breakfast that Denise brought out to us in the morning in her boat. And a delicious, homemade dinner that was also brought out to our Sky Hut.
We sat and soaked up the sun on our personal deck while taking in the splendid vista surrounding us.
(Expect the unexpected)

Gallivare is a mining town and in itself not particularly...
Gallivare is a mining town and in itself not particularly interesting for holiday takers but it provides good transport options to several of the national parks in the region.
It is possible to make some nice walks in the immediate vicinity of the town but these alone are not a reason to travel there.
