- the staff was very friendly - Room was nice with sea view and clean with a comfy bed - good breakfast selection, Dinner was also delicious and good - excellent Location in Kalmar (Station, City Center and Castle in walking distance) - beautiful terrace at the restaurant

Quiet park setting close to Kalmar castle. Excellent breakfast and dining facilities. The outdoor bar and courtyard looked appealing.

We asked to have a sauna in the morning an we got a hot sauna even though the time for souna was supposed to be only in the evening🤗

Unique experience sleeping in a 6m^2 cell. Staff very friendly.

The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The room was nice and fresh, with very comfy beds, two 90 cm wide. The toilet/shower was fresh and clean. The breakfast was a very nice buffet with the usual stuff to choose from. Free parking, but limited number of spaces. There is a shared kitchen in the basement where you can store cold stuff and even cook. Coffe, sodas, snacks and some sandwiches on sale in the reception.

Right in the centre, lovely building. Access to shared balcony overlooking the square and water views. Relaxed and secure.

The staff were incredibly kind and informative. The place was quaint and the location was optimal. The staff even made us a lunch to take away on the day we left, so so kind.

What a surprise to find the hotel located right next to Tripp Trapp Trull! Friendly staff at reception. Very good breakfast. I loved the tea/coffee/biscuit station in the foyer.

We had a fantastic stay at Borgholm Hotel! The location is right in the center of Borgholm, making it easy to explore the nearby castle and park and the northern side of the Island. The room was nicely designed and super comfy, with their own beauty products and a very warm touch, and with a lot of orientation material on the surroundings. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. A great breakfast with many tasty, fresh and homemade products which we really enjoyed. They also have a bar with their signature cocktails and great restaurant (which we did not try during our stay) but looked like it was worth a try. Definitely recommended! One of the best we visited in Sweden so far.
