Also, there is free tea/coffee/hot chocolate and water available for free 24/7 in the dining area.
My room was clean, cosy, bright and offered lovely views of the river at the back of the hotel. It had an armchair and a coffee table, and a desk and a chair, too. The bed was comfortable.
My stay started with a little hiccup as I had not received any information about access codes prior to my check-in. I arrived at the locked hotel entrance and had to ring the number written on the door. Luckily a member of the staff (Johan) answered the phone and gave me instructions on how to get in. The reception is located on the 4th floor of the building, so it is a bit unusual. However, everything went smooth after that. Johan was very kind, showed me the common spaces and was very helpful. I felt welcome and comfortable. Johan also told me about a discount for the hotel guests in one of the nearby restaurants. I met him several times throughout my stay and he was always friendly and helpful.
On my last day, the staff arranged for me to leave my luggage in the hotel after the check-out, even though it looked like it was not what they usually offered. I was very grateful for this act of kindness.
The hotel offers really good services for the price of the stay.
I really enjoyed my stay in the hotel and I am planning to stay there again on my future trips to Solleftea.

A lovely small town for a relaxing break away.
A lovely small town for a relaxing break away. I have disability so wasn’t active, no skiing for me. We ate dinner in Friends pub and in The Grill Restaurant. Very good food in both places. Also had lovely coffee and cake in a couple of cafes. Enjoyed shopping for jewellety and shoes on Storgatan. Will be back.

Read my review. Owners pretending to be nice people, but they are not. The water was yellow full with iron and therefore undrinkable. I had to buy my own bottles of water 20 km away. There are windmiles, the main road is buzy so difficult to walk the dogs. no hiking from the house etc etc. Never go there anymore.
