Loved everything about this place- amazing location, great love for details, fancy but very tasteful breakfast and everything was super clean. The staff is super friendly and you can see that everyone is doing their part to make this a perfect stay for the guests. Would definitely recommend the massage and spa area as well. Just love it here and we were sad that we had to leave .

The hotel has the perfect location, the Vintgar Gorge is just a few minutes of walking. Spacious room, big windows with gorgeous view over the mountains. From the second you set foot in the foyer you know this place is special. There is a charm and old world glamour that you can feel instantly. The staff are all brilliant, each one was so friendly and helpful. Once we had checked in we had our welcome drink in the salon where we could properly drink in the stunning views of lake bled. We had a room overlooking the lake and it was simply stunning. The breakfast here was great, as were the spa facilities. We had a Luisa massage which was total relaxation - highly recommend! Also recommend taking the rowboat across the lake to the island. 1hr is free for guests. I love how this hotel has been cared for and any renovations have been careful to keep the feel of the hotel. You feel like you are experiencing the hotel exactly how it was for decades but it's still in perfect condition.

This place is just so charming and well done. It’s close enough to the lake - about a 5 minute drive. The breakfast was excellent and the room cozy and clean.
