RomaniaThe hotel is located in the old historical centre, in a building with a lot of history but still the room was very modern. Our room had a nice view of the High Tatras.
The personal at the hotel was more than nice and very helpful. We were offered tips on what to visit and which trails to hike.
Breakfast was delicious and we had a large variety to different dishes to choose from.
Our room was sparkling clean.
If you are looking for a place to stay at the feet of the High Tatras, this is the place to stay for sure when we will go back to Poprad Doma u nas will be our option.

The hosts were super helpful: they know the area very well and are able to give up-to-date information and recommend places to go (or suggest modification to our plans) as well as the best way to get there (thus saving us valueable time we would have spent travelling). The place is surrounded by forest and there are no sounds of traffic, so we slept really well. Breakfast is tasty and when the weather is good, you can take it outside in the freh air and sun.
The extra touch to our stay was that the hosts offered to give us a better room in another building at no extra cost since our stay coincided with a big group of people arriving on the same day as us and the original room we were supposed to be in was in the bigger building taken by the group. I mean, the room was still there and unoccupied, but the hosts decided to give us extra privacy which was very considerate.

Very clean facility in excellent location right next to the castle with private parking. Spacious beautiful restaurant with a view on the castle and outdoor playground. The food was delicious and overall this place has a very warm atmosphere.

The food. The breakfast and the dinner is also very tasty and they always have something special (like BBQ dinner). The staff is also helpful and kind. The jacuzzi at the rooftop with the sauna is very special and beautiful.

For our money, we got a clean, silent, well equipped room at a great location. The restaurant part is also great. They are fluent in at least three languages (English, Hungarian and Slovak).

A beautiful area! The landscape and the town itself. Gorgeous views. Very peaceful and quiet. If you want to get away from the crowded city, this is a perfect place. The hotel we stayed at was a lovery country house run by a family. Delicious food, cozy rooms, good service. A lot to see around this town

Very nostalgic city for me as I grew up here!
Very nostalgic city for me as I grew up here! You can easily find places to eat for a bargain price, compared to England. Lots of cool dessert and coffee shops to explore. The park is beautiful and a lovely walk, especially if walk all the way to Priehrada (the lake). Highly recommend the lángos in there or in the Black Eagle. Beers and ice cream are especially affordable, coming in at 2 EUR and 1.50 EUR each.
It's a slower city, great for those who want a calmer getaway. You can walk from one end of the city to the other in under 2 hours, a car or bus isn't needed for exploring.
In addition, it's a good base to branch out from and explore other places if you are visiting with a car. Such as Banská Bystrica (50 min drive), Halič (10 min drive) or even Hungary (around a 2hr drive to Budapest).

Small village at the border of Slovensky Raj.
Small village at the border of Slovensky Raj. Good starting position for hiking and easy to access the whole Slonesky Raj by car. It is just 30 min. to Podlesok, Cingov on the oposite site of this national park.

We did not explore the village a lot, as we usually drove to the Slovak Paradise or Tatra Mountains and we did the shopping in Poprad. There is a Greco-Catholic church and a trail featuring a bunker from WW2. We did not notice any slums or social issues, as opposed to other villages further north.

I can't say anything bad because it was amazing comfortable. Everything was there what is needed. Maybe coffee for ex. 3in1 would be nice to have there which would have a small cost for the owner. 1€ aprox.
For 10 sachets. But i liked the tea that was there.

Literally a hole in the wall, in a good way, get away from cars, traffic jams, non-stop modern life. The best place to get a rest from busy everyday life. You definitely need a car there to get to Poprad or Revuca for grocery or restaurants. Really loved this place, 8 nights, would stay there for another 8 nights.
As of geographical location, a good place as a "Forward Operation Base" to explore Slovakia.

It's a small city which pretty well express the mood of Slovakian/Hungarian province. While traveling by car, it's the good starting point for the nearby caves or parks. Good place to take a break. There's a supermarket and few restaurants with really tasty food. I was staying there for a week and with the trips around it was very good time.

Exceeded our expectations from all aspect, - location- in between 40meter tall pine tries and next to a little stream, with beautiful view. The hotel is equipped with great quality furniture's and nice design. The food is just delicious and the personnel is very, very kind. Perfect place for relaxing, swich off and hike in the neighborhood. Highly recommended!

Dedinky is a very nice and calm town at the foot of the hills of the Slovak paradise. The lake is great for swimming (though the water is cold) or for renting a boat and exploring the lake a little. The Dobsina Ice Cave can easily be reached by train, and there are several nice hiking tours starting from Dedinky.

While walking along the main street, you can admire interesting historic buildings and have a great coffee and dessert. Lučenec offers an interesting combination of urban atmosphere and beautiful countryside in the vicinity far from major centers. Many churches and a restored large synagogue. In the vicinity rich opportunities of swimming, visiting old castles and nature reserves in the volcanic landscape of the Cerova Highlands.
