"Raj" means paradise and it’s not just a word in case of this hotel. It is located in the finest place near the lovely river. Spacious, clean, well equipped room. The staff was incredibly helpful: they kept the service desk open for us at the late evening, did their best to prepare the breakfast without the electric supply in the entire region.

Great facility, few minutes outside of the city but perfect for a business trip. Very quiet and comfortable. Car or transport needed. Restaurant and wine bar on the spot was closed at the evening, but sufficient and tasty breakfast is available. Can only recommend!

We stayed here for a couple of nights, and really enjoyed our stay int he 'Library Room'. The room was large and comfortable, and my daughter's stayed in the ante-room which could be fully closed off from the main bedroom (so she has a room of her own). The breaksfast was amazing and generous, with everything from hot options and cheeses/meats, to pancakes, fruit, yoghurts,etc. I can highly recommend also having dinner at the hotel: the food is excellent and sophisticated. The hotel is on a charming old town square with free parking right outside the doors. Its easy to get from the hotel to any number of locations nearby (the Tatras or Slovansky raj for hiking, Levoca for sightseeing etc.)

Everything was perfect, the staff, the historical building, the food (both breakfast and dinner) the spa, the interior swimming pool, the jakuzi, the sauna and the garden. The staff was polite, helpful and well trained. The building itself was suberb.The room was spacious, luxurious and clean. Attention was paid to the slightest detail. The breakfast was of good quality, the dinner was very tasty. The interior swimming pool was really nice. The parking was on the side of the hotel.

Location, facilities, staff, breakfast. We were leaving early and they were incredibly helpful to organise a taxi and prepare breakfast early prior to our departure. The chimney in the small bar area is a cosy touch to a property that overlooks the town. The terrace was great to have a drink in the evening.

The hosts were super helpful: they know the area very well and are able to give up-to-date information and recommend places to go (or suggest modification to our plans) as well as the best way to get there (thus saving us valueable time we would have spent travelling). The place is surrounded by forest and there are no sounds of traffic, so we slept really well. Breakfast is tasty and when the weather is good, you can take it outside in the freh air and sun. The extra touch to our stay was that the hosts offered to give us a better room in another building at no extra cost since our stay coincided with a big group of people arriving on the same day as us and the original room we were supposed to be in was in the bigger building taken by the group. I mean, the room was still there and unoccupied, but the hosts decided to give us extra privacy which was very considerate.

Hospitality, support, responsiveness to our requests like to change towels or to bring hairdryer, guidance on “where to” have a meal, get coffee, etc. 2 rooms worked well for our family, as kids picky in food it was helpful to have kitchen and all needed kitchenware was there. Ski resort is in couple of minutes on foot from the hotel, which is awesome and during holiday season we enjoyed evening ski time till 8pm!

While walking along the main street, you can admire interesting historic buildings and have a great coffee and dessert. Lučenec offers an interesting combination of urban atmosphere and beautiful countryside in the vicinity far from major centers. Many churches and a restored large synagogue. In the vicinity rich opportunities of swimming, visiting old castles and nature reserves in the volcanic landscape of the Cerova Highlands.

A beautiful area! The landscape and the town itself. Gorgeous views. Very peaceful and quiet. If you want to get away from the crowded city, this is a perfect place. The hotel we stayed at was a lovery country house run by a family. Delicious food, cozy rooms, good service. A lot to see around this town

I can't say anything bad because it was amazing comfortable. Everything was there what is needed. Maybe coffee for ex. 3in1 would be nice to have there which would have a small cost for the owner. 1€ aprox. For 10 sachets. But i liked the tea that was there. Overall itt was superb

Literally a hole in the wall, in a good way, get away from cars, traffic jams, non-stop modern life. The best place to get a rest from busy everyday life. You definitely need a car there to get to Poprad or Revuca for grocery or restaurants. Really loved this place, 8 nights, would stay there for another 8 nights. As of geographical location, a good place as a "Forward Operation Base" to explore Slovakia.

Small village at the border of Slovensky Raj. Good starting position for hiking and easy to access the whole Slonesky Raj by car. It is just 30 min. to Podlesok, Cingov on the oposite site of this national park.

It's a small city which pretty well express the mood of...

It's a small city which pretty well express the mood of Slovakian/Hungarian province. While traveling by car, it's the good starting point for the nearby caves or parks. Good place to take a break. There's a supermarket and few restaurants with really tasty food. I was staying there for a week and with the trips around it was very good time.

Nothing to do and almost no restaurants or bars. Not a very pleasant stay here, unfortunately. The inhabitants don't speak English. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Even our overnight stay was already too long to be good.

Dedinky is a very nice and calm town at the foot of the hills of the Slovak paradise. The lake is great for swimming (though the water is cold) or for renting a boat and exploring the lake a little. The Dobsina Ice Cave can easily be reached by train, and there are several nice hiking tours starting from Dedinky.

Dedinky is on the south side of Slovak Paradise National Park. It has a "bite-sized" hike that takes about two hours (or three hours for an extended version). The hike includes metal ladders and metal platforms through the gorge. (Longer more adventurous hikes can be found to the north of the national park). The reservoir by Dedinky village has boats for rental, alternatively you can go for a swim (after a hike)... the water temperature is refreshingly cold!
