The place actually exceeded our expectations. The location is more than perfect - 3-5 minutes walk to the main square of one of the most picturesque towns you could imagine, to the banks of the Danube river, as well as to the train station from which you arrive 30 minutes later in downton Budapest. The apartment was warm and cosy (incredibly important for the season of the year!), the staff very friendly and the breakfasts fresh and well-balanced. We just couldn't ask for more and we will surely be back there in a while!

We took the presidential suite. It is huge and beautiful. Overlooking a pastoral landscape including a lake. In the evening the reflections and the sun are unforgettable. The price of the suite also included half board. The food was delicious Hungarian food that reminded me of my mother's cooking. There was only a problem with shower doors not closing all the way.

We stayed in December out of season, it was snowing outside and we made extensive use of the hotel facilities. Everything was perfect. Large and comfortable room, perfectly clean. large and clean wellness area with different areas . Massages are highly recommended. There is a good and plentiful buffet for breakfast and dinner.

We received excellent service in every way. My youngest daughter broke the TV, and we wanted to pay. The hotel manager and owner kindly refused to accept payment. It was a very nice approach. Our family noted the location and have recommended it to other travel companions. We will definitely stay there again.

Our room served its purpose as we needed somewhere close to the airport for our early morning flight. The parking area was full. I'm assuming most people who stay here are needing a one night stay and it's fine for that. Reception person(s) were very attentive and responsive.

LOT'S OF HISTORICAL PLACES. DYNAMITE. THE SIGHTSEEING BUS WHAT A GREAT IDEA, HOWEVER ONLY RUNS ON WEEKENDS. THE REST OF THE WEEK IS JUST PARKED AT A PARKING LOT. WHAT A WASTE. DURING THE WEEK, MAY NOT HAVE THAT MANY PEOPLE, BUT THEY COULD HAVE RUN IT AT LEAST 2 TIMES A DAY. ONE AT MIDDAY, ONE AT IN THE AFTERNOON. THE TOWN SHOULD HAVE A OPEN AIR SHUTTLE BUS FOR ELDERLY PEOPLE. NOT EVERYONE CAN WALK FROM ONE END TO THE OTHER. NICE PLACE , GOOD WIBE.

Fantastic host !!!! Very friendly and helpful the will be there any time when you need, sorted all your problems!!! We have everything what we needed. Step to step instructions where we can go what please to see, we don't have to worry about anything everything will be sorted 😊 haus looks more beautiful not on the pictures!! Very comfortable bed bedding smells so freshly washed,loved that smell 🥰 Sparkly clean haus!! Haus have everything what you needed , and everything what you needed for barbecue. I'm haigh recommended that place !!!!! If someone wants to go to Budapest I haigh recommended you stay in there, that haus 8 kilometres outside of Budapest that no problem at all taxi 24/7 But you can relax and enjoy peace and quiet 🥰 300m from the haus restaurant food bar, and very friendly staff 😋 some day we definitely will going back 😊 haigh recommended!!!

A really picturesque town with a vibrant square.

A really picturesque town with a vibrant square. There's always something going on during the weekends. The palace and gardens are stunning and the patisserie in the palace is a must. Very handy for visiting Budapest with excellent connections.

Small and nice city.

Small and nice city. Sure, one day is completely enough there but you can use this place to explore the area around incl. Esztergom, Visegrad and even a day trip to Budapest by ferry is possible. Enough restaurant options for some days.

Veces is an hour away from Budapest by public transport by bus and metro, but it is very good in terms of proximity to the airport. Nearby there is a central market with various shops and a Tesco, about 25 minutes on foot.

Visegrad is a very quiet and rural area and is well suited to those seeking a restful and quiet holiday. The visitor map is quite out of date as the brewery and winery shown are no longer there or open. walking/hiking seems to be the most reason for people to visit the area for its beautiful scenery and hill walks.
