It’s very nice and convenient to have breakfast(or anytime during Subway’s opening hours)at the Subway nearby with hotel’s coupons. There’s a convenience store right next to the front desk but I’d rather walk to the chain supermarket about five minute’s walk from hotel cuz things are cheaper there. There are many other stores and restaurants on and near Zhongzheng Road where we can find many choices of food until 8-9 pm. It only takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to the Nanhai wharf.

5 star facilities for families traveling with young children. Great pool area, children’s playroom, laundry area, and room views. Conveniently located nearby many local food options, the department store and duty free, and the Go Star challenge obstacle course. Service was friendly, efficient and helpful. Most importantly it provided my 3year old boy a happy memory. He said he didn’t want to leave Penghu and the hotel afterwards at the airport.

The best thing about this hotel is the location, right by downtown Magong which made it easy to get around. The room is very basic and small. We end up paid extra to move to a room with multiple beds. Breakfast was not offered but fortunately there was a coffee shop a short walk away.

Penghu is an excellent vacation desitnation.
Penghu is an excellent vacation desitnation. There are varied natural landscape and geographical environment to observe and admire. And there are many different types of coasts around the islands which you can enjoy different activities. I would love to visit again to Penghu one day during end of spring. And maybe try out the scuba diving or snorkeling activities!

Once you decided to stay in the isles, other than main island Penghu, almost all the hotels and hostels will charge more. That’s why most of Taiwanese tourists just take day trip and avoid staying in these isles.
