I was travelling with my son who is autistic, there is no widespread awareness of Autism in that part of Tanzania at least, but people were generally friendly with my boy, he had a great time, but the staff at Salinero Millie went above and beyond, we arrived after midnight, a day before our booking, they woke up and accommodated us immediately and spend the next two days making sure we were comfortable and had a great time. They adapted to my son's needs and peculiarities without making it seem like an effort, they were genuinely friendly and interested.

The staff is friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is healthy and delicious. You can also get a stunning view of Mount Kilimanjaro on a clear day. Absolutely fantastic! 💯 Ensure that you sip on Kilimanjaro beer as you take in the ambience. More value than your money's worth. Lovely gardens and greens. Definitely coming back!

The place is perfect for a short stay before flying! The person is charge is the sweetest! I hadn't had dinner by the time I arrived and he ordered a tuk tuk and even came with me to the closest restaurant and waited for me to have some food! The breakfast is SPECTACULAR! Evaline House was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Dorcas was a great and welcoming host, who even cooked dinner and prepared an early breakfast. The house is 15min from Kilimanjaro airport, try to get a reasonable price for the taxi. Would definitely come back.
