Yussuf and his team are great and the lodge is really beautiful. It's very quiet, perfect for everyone who doesn't need a lot of people. We enjoyed the hammock, the beach and the nice atmosphere a lot.

This place is absolutely amazing. Location in the marine park makes for the most beautiful scenery, with lots of space, beautiful grounds, and quiet beach. The scuba diving and snorkelling are absolutely pristine, the food and drinks were perfect, and the staff could not have been friendlier. We were absolutely gutted to leave!

This is a great place to stay if you are planning to dive in Mafia for a view days. The two cosy new bungalows are part of the family run dive center. The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is yummy and you can also have the option for dinner. I enjoyed the big pool to relax after great dives and the beach is just a stone throw away. Also the dive center and its extremely helpful staff deserves 5 stars!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Kimulimuli Green Heaven. The Mawimbi bungalow is very clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed with great attention to detail. The outdoor bathroom is absolutely magical, immersed in nature. We slept peacefully every night, lulled by the sound of the waves from the beach just below. The welcome from Antonia and Hamisi was exceptional : warm, attentive, and always available. And a special mention to Warda, who prepares breakfast: she is an amazing cook, always smiling and full of good energy. We highly recommend this place and would love to return asap :)

Our stay at Banja Amani felt like paradise from start to finish! Genevieve picked us up from the airport - we hit it off directly. She’s such a sweet person - open, cheerful and a wonderful boss. When we arrived in Banja, we could hardly believe our eyes—white sandy beaches, palm trees, crystal-clear sea, two beach bungalows nestled in the bay—and no other hotels or tourists far and wide (we love that - a lot ;-) ). We were warmly welcomed by the staff—everyone, from the kitchen to the service to the cleaning staff to the maintenance crew, is so friendly, cheerful, and very helpful! The beach bungalows are fantastic – simple but stylish, with an incredible view of the sea. We especially loved that they were open and that we were accompanied by the sound of the wind and the sea as we slept. The food is so delicious—from breakfast to lunch to surprise dinners—rich, healthy, and freshly prepared. The pool is the perfect size and invites you to swim. The beach and the sandbank are wonderful for walking and exploring. Thank you, Genevieve, for this oasis—thank you, Mudi, Adam, and the entire staff for making our stay such a unique experience.

It was delicious food, and Shaggy was always ready to help in whatever I asked. The location is perfect for diving, and for visiting Utende, and the environment is lovely. Small, budget friendly, and sweet.

excellent accommodation in utende village. the staff is super friendly, attentive and helpful. the rooms are beautifully done, breakfast is fresh, delicious and more than enough. the dinner for 12$ is reasonably priced, you get a starter, a main and drinks and it‘s delicious. keep in mind that you‘re staying in the village and not on the beach. they lend you bicycles for the 5 minute ride and the drive is really nice. if i ever return to mafia i‘d stay there again. asante tena:)

We loved every moment of our stay at Kileleni! The place is utter paradise and the friendly, helpful staff went the extra mile to ensure we were happy at all times. Communications were amazing from the booking stage right up to checkout, with excellent advice and helpful assistance. I generally like to visit new and different accommodations when I travel... but would like to go back to Kileleni!

This place has air con fan and plenty of hot water, and they will be expanding rooms at the end of the season!! Nice and close to all dive centres and with dive plant right next door
