Finding a parking spot there is the grates challenge ever.
Finding a parking spot there is the grates challenge ever. The rods there are my nightmares but Sofiivka park was great. Clean, cozy, nice weather. We didn't find a map of that park so navigated intuitively (could have missed some beautiful spots but still enjoyed our trip).

Cherkasy is a nice Ukrainian city.
Cherkasy is a nice Ukrainian city. The beaches and parks on the banks of the Dnipro river are beautiful and clean. The city center has several nice restaurants and all kinds of shopping. They have a huge farmers market with outdoor stalls selling just about anything you could want.

One of those cities that’s big enough to have what you need, but small enough to have an intimate community feel of a small town. Love the people and the heritage. And being right off the water is always a plus for me! 😊
