Friendly receptionists, good restaurant next door, thanks to Any who took great care of me. Only negative was that the electricity was off for a few hours due to the war but the restaurant had emergency lighting through a generator.

Great culture, architecture, cuisine and infrastructure even at year 5 of war.
All flowerbeds perfectly maintained and blooming, free public transport, exemplary morale.
Shame the museums are shut down (to preserve the collections from missile damage) but still plenty of places to visit.
For all-day breakfasts and specialty coffee (rarely available at the same venue in the world) would recommend "makers" at Skovorody, 66 and "Departament kavy". For craft beer and a decent dinner – DAF pub.

I come to Kharkiv as a visitor and as a resident.
This is a beautiful city that is unfortunately close to the aggressive orcs. I recommend anyone able to visit Ukraine, and Kharkiv! There are many things to do, parks, a zoo, many amazing markets and eateries, even an outdoor museum with displays of destroyed Ruzzian military equipment.
Come to Kharkiv! It will steal your heart! 💙🇺🇦💛
