Outstanding, friendly an attentive service that met our needs at the end of a two week safari in Uganda. Perfect place to stay before our flight out. The facilities are spotless and the rooms are comfortable, spacious, and clean. The pool is very nice as well. This is a great business hotel and also a nice place for leisure travelers like us coming and going from Entebbe/Uganda.

Everything was great during our stay. The staff was accommodating for our late arrival (evening traffic coming from Kampala is insane) and made us food at 9:30pm. We had an early evening flight the following day and they gave us a late checkout at no charge. Which was so much appreciated. Can’t guarantee they will always accommodate this but even so they mention you can stay in the common areas until you have to leave. The maintenance guy did a wonderful job keeping the pool and grounds clean. Food was fantastic. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this for your arrival or pre departure nights. Great place to soak up the sun before heading to the cold north.

What a wonderful stay at the African Roots Guesthouse! We arrived after midnight into Entebbe and they were right there to pick us up at the airport. We found it a wonderful peaceful place to spend and extra night after a very long flight. Charity was so warm and welcoming! Breakfast and dinner were amazing! Rooms were delightful and very clean. They even drove us into Entebbe town for a bit of shopping and lunch. Please stay if you arrive in Entebbe late and looking for a nice respite before beginning your Uganda safari.

We have been staying here when we arrive at the airport for years. They hired managers for awhile that didn’t do a good job so they have taken it back over and it’s wonderful. I love the location since it’s set in a quiet village near Lake Victoria. Staff has always been wonderful and food always good.

Great and peaceful location with an amazing view. A great place to escape Kampala for a staycation while still being in Kampala. The rooms are well appointed with a mix of an artsy and rustic vibe. The beds are comfortable. They are great loungers to relax by the pool side.

Entebbe is a beautiful town with lots of great restaurants. Great bars on the lake shores to enjoy a sundowner at. Easy to get around, and very friendly and helpful people. Nice shopping mall with nice food, ATMs and a grocery shop.
