The hotel is truly fantastic. We loved everything about it. We spent three very comfortable nights there. The cleanliness is better than in your own home. The scent throughout the entire hotel — both in the common areas and the rooms — is wonderful. The staff is super friendly. We came for work, and while I was working in the business area, my children were with me drawing. When the reception staff noticed, they immediately came over to offer them coloring supplies. The Christmas decorations were beautiful — everything was so well taken care of. Breakfast didn’t have many options, but there was delicious coffee available to guests all day long. We couldn’t enjoy the pool because the weather was really bad, but we did use the gym, and it was clean, with towels and water available. A huge thank you to everyone working at this hotel — from reception to housekeeping, and Marcela in the breakfast area. They were extremely kind, hardworking, and always had a smile and a kind word. People like this truly make a difference. I would come back 100 times.

Destin itself was beautiful for sure, and I will be back may not be the hotel I had, but I will visit again. The food places we ate at was really good nothing bad to say about any of them. They all were in the Habor Broadwalk area.

Very nice beach with beautiful sand. There were some jellyfish when I was there, so you have to be careful not to touch them. But it wasn't really a problem. They offered umbrellas and they were rented at a reasonable price

A lot of traffic, so guage your travel.

A lot of traffic, so guage your travel. Heavy traffic to/from the military base, tourist attractions, and delays near road construction, be prepared. Many enjoyable, yet reasonably priced, places to eat and enjoy the variety of dishes. Seafood the main menu fare. Attractions near Ft Walton Beach, FL, a short drive away. Awesome beaches in the area, enjoy them.

The Dolphin cruise at Harbor Blvd was amazing and we saw lots of Dolphins. Seascape golf course needs updating. I found good deals at the outlets. The highlight is Miramar beach. The white sand and emerald green water is spectacular. Embassy Suites at Miramar is clean, has an amazing breakfast and the staff is attentive to details. The airport is extremely small but very efficient. We will be back!

We love the location. This is our second trip.

We love the location. This is our second trip. The first was in the building next-door. We sat by the water every morning and every evening it’s a good place to de-stress and relax from everyday life. My husband and I flew for the first time at the Destin flight works. It was amazing. I would highly recommend it if you’ve never flown and are wondering what it’s like this is the place to go. and last but not least if you don’t like to go out where it’s busy, we sat by the water each day and if you watch closely, you can see the Dolphins from the shore.

The beaches and ocean are beautiful!

The beaches and ocean are beautiful! The houses are stunning. The crush of people in the main strip area, reminds us of Gatlinburg, TN or Branson, MO. It has a nice path for walking and biking. Best to get out to the beaches, etc, early!

Property is close to Stunning Nevarre Beaches, 30 mins to Pensacola, Destin and Fort Walton is even closer than Nevarre, 10 minute drive. We loved our stay! Beautiful home and neighborhood was very safe, large back yard for dogs too!!! Great time! Lots of Great restaurants in the area!!!

It was very beautiful and I recommend it to anyone that needs a quick getaway from Texas it's only 10 hours drive if you are alone and not stopping to eat, but with family it's 12 hours drive ,still not bad at all..

This is a lovely beach, featuring the warm, (mostly) calm Gulf waters of the Emerald Coast. Okaloosa Island features numerous hotels and vacation rental units to choose from. My only complaint is that the sunrise and sunset is not visible, due to the high rise units all along this stretch. Best breakfast was Asiago Skillet, just a couple of blocks down from our hotel. Really good food AND service!
