The hotel is truly fantastic. We loved everything about it. We spent three very comfortable nights there. The cleanliness is better than in your own home. The scent throughout the entire hotel — both in the common areas and the rooms — is wonderful. The staff is super friendly. We came for work, and while I was working in the business area, my children were with me drawing. When the reception staff noticed, they immediately came over to offer them coloring supplies. The Christmas decorations were beautiful — everything was so well taken care of. Breakfast didn’t have many options, but there was delicious coffee available to guests all day long. We couldn’t enjoy the pool because the weather was really bad, but we did use the gym, and it was clean, with towels and water available. A huge thank you to everyone working at this hotel — from reception to housekeeping, and Marcela in the breakfast area. They were extremely kind, hardworking, and always had a smile and a kind word. People like this truly make a difference. I would come back 100 times.

Breakfast was buffet style with hot and cold options, the hot tub and pool were great. The information desk, lobby and breakfast area are separated from the units, which was quite unique, and the smell of the lobby was refreshing! The receptionist and the crew were amazing! Highly recommended!

Nice rooms, excellent tomato soup! and great you can just walk out onto the beach. Gym is ok, but too few lower weight unfortunately. Staff is nice and the small shop with auto-check out was good and not just fast or crappy food options. Close to a good supermarket and shop and lots of sightseeing all around.

We had a great short family vacation in Destin and really...

We had a great short family vacation in Destin and really enjoyed our stay. The area felt relaxed and pleasant, with mostly hotels and vacation properties close to the beach and away from the main roads. The waterfront is a nice place for an evening walk, especially around sunset. One thing to keep in mind is that there is very little street lighting in some areas after dark. Having a car is very convenient, with grocery stores, cafés, restaurants, and other amenities just a 10–15 minute drive away. Overall, Destin is a great destination for a relaxing family beach getaway. We would definitely consider coming back.

The beach is super nice, white sands.

The beach is super nice, white sands. The only issue was the beach chairs and umbrellas are too close together for a nice view of the ocean from behind. The guys who set up the chairs are not very friendly.

A lot of traffic, so guage your travel. Heavy traffic to/from the military base, tourist attractions, and delays near road construction, be prepared. Many enjoyable, yet reasonably priced, places to eat and enjoy the variety of dishes. Seafood the main menu fare. Attractions near Ft Walton Beach, FL, a short drive away. Awesome beaches in the area, enjoy them.

Lots of things to do and see. The beaches are great. The arcade was fun. The restaurants are super. The dogs were all great. My dog was so happy to see the dogs at the dog park from her balcony. The people really nice. Easy to get around.

I would definitely recommend Fort Walton Beach to all of my friends and family. We absolutely enjoyed our time in Fort Walton Beach. This was our first time in Florida and it was the best experience that we could have ever imagined. Thank you Wyndham garden hotel, Fort Walton Beach, and Destin Florida for giving my daughter an amazing 16th birthday vacation. 🫡❤️🥳🎉

The beaches and ocean are beautiful!

The beaches and ocean are beautiful! The houses are stunning. The crush of people in the main strip area, reminds us of Gatlinburg, TN or Branson, MO. It has a nice path for walking and biking. Best to get out to the beaches, etc, early!

Property is close to Stunning Nevarre Beaches, 30 mins to Pensacola, Destin and Fort Walton is even closer than Nevarre, 10 minute drive. We loved our stay! Beautiful home and neighborhood was very safe, large back yard for dogs too!!! Great time! Lots of Great restaurants in the area!!!

Like most wonderful destinations... they are too crowded as there seems to not be much difference of in-season and off-season. Traffic is always horrid. Most beautiful beaches!!! Couldn't even get into a favorite hotspot-McGuire's... on a Thursday at 4pm!!! Too many people.

My sister and I are from Mobile Alabama so it was like going back home the family had an awesome time staying there the whitest sand and beautiful water all the staff there were very nice we really enjoyed ourselves and hopefully can go back next year
