I would rate this as one of the best places I have stayed in in North America. Our room was large, with comfortable seating area and good kitchenette. Bathroom excellent. Breakfast was outstanding and no evidence of single use plastic. Brilliant. We enjoyed the swimming pool area.

Totally surprised by how excellent this hotel was. We had been road tripping for many days and staying at various hotels. This hotel was absolutely wonderful. Great staff, very spacios rooms and clean. Loved the vibe of the hotel and the location. Breakfast was great and full service of juices and beverages was amazing. Hope we can come back again here.

Rock Springs is a great outdoor adventure.

Rock Springs is a great outdoor adventure. Also a nice taste of the West for those that love all things Cowboys. The area has many canyons to visit and includes a nearby park where you can take your children and dogs to walk or play at the Green River. There are canyons nearby to explore and in the Summer they have what is called the Big Show which highlights rodeos, clowns, vendors, animals and carnival rides. Every night popular entertainment is featured along with an after party. The place also offers unique shops and surprisingly has a variety of eateries including a Thai restaurant. Worth the stop.

The Dinosaur National Monument is excellent and the scenic drive thru the park is lovely. Thr town is a good size, has food options, and is lovely. Not as crowded as other parks but still great scenic views, historical and scientific relevance, and plenty of activities.

Good nature access and hiking.

Good nature access and hiking. There's a trail that runs from Expedition Island, near downtown, along the river out to the Scott's Bottom nature area. Nice river, pleasant scenery, and some good wildlife, including Ospreys on nesting platforms at Scott's Bottom.

Our family and friends went to fish, camp and raft down the river. My husband and I are 'over' the tent #@%*. We stayed at the Flaming Gorge Resort and it was exceptional. Just a few minutes from the camp site. We would have an early breakfast and meet everyone at the campsite. We would return late into the evening. And guess what? We had a nice shower, warm, comfortable bed and a clean toilet. Perfect......

Location is great if your driving a long way across country.

Location is great if your driving a long way across country. Nice, quiet & cozy room. Super friendly staff, & a great cafe next door to get you started back on the road. The RV park behind it is decent as well. I got in at around 1030pm after a 12 hour drive, had zero issues with check in, and zero creepy vibes. What a huge blessing of a spot!!!

I liked the hotel and restaurant I visited.

I liked the hotel and restaurant I visited. Studio 6 was inexpensive and about correctly priced for as good as it was. The hosts were pleasant and efficient. The Santa Fe Southwest grill was unexpectedly good and nice prices. We went to see a train locomotive that spent a day there. We saw it. A win! Lovely older buildings near the train tracks.

Gateway to Dinosaur NM is the main attraction.

Gateway to Dinosaur NM is the main attraction. But there are other worthwhile attractions: McConkey Ranch-privately owned but open to the public: amazing petroglyphs by Fremon people. McKee Springs petroglyphs are worth the drive on the dirt road (but don't go when the road is wet). Vernal offers a wide range of restaurants.

It was kind of clean! Moldy tacos left in microwave from previous guest! Blankets and pillows smelled used! Floor was clean enough the heater worked great if you want it at 80° all the time but hey it was cheap and I-80 was closed!

Stayed at the same property 30 years ago and it has grown substantially. Still a very nice place to stay with friendly staff and a good restaurant on the property. Extremely quiet and private, but also about a 1/4 mile from the front desk. The rooms all have a sliding door to a small patio with chairs.

I booked this as a stop between Boise and Boulder and was pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. Mesa, at the front desk, was very welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and featured a microwave, desk, coffee maker, two comfy queen beds, and a large TV. The rooms were quiet, I didn't hear anyone else even though I know I had neighbors. The breakfast was far more than expected and a great way to start my day for the remaining five hour drive. I would book here again for sure!
